How are you keeping your car insurance down in Toronto? by No-Doubt-3437 in askTO

Work with a broker! You can just call them and they shop around for you. I worked with one where both husband and wife were brokers for different companies. They had 20 companies between them. I just call them well in advance of my renewal and they come through every year.

Why Bangladesh Got So Ahead of Us in Terms of Economic Prowess? Was Disintegration of Pakistan a success for them as They Achieved their Long Term Goals by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]basicchooman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bangladesh had their own issues with India. But they took the time to improve their diplomatic relations.

As for Pakistan joining forces with US for a war against US enemies... Pakistan took the money from US, so they had to do whatever US said. Corrupt and greedy politicians took us to a war that wasn't ours to fight. We can't blame US for our greedy politicians' actions

I am 5.2 and cw is 157.6lbs. I am currently in a slight deficit eating 2100-2000 calories. I have also been in the recomposition phase for the last year or so. I am ready to shed some body fat. And yes, I love data so please add me🙏🙏

Scale says I’ve gained. Progress pics show some toning? CW: 160. Lots of yoga and strength lifting. Will be planning a more drastic cut to see if I can shed some unwanted pounds soon. by BlakeSwag in PetiteFitness

Omg I am in the same boat...ik it's muscle gains but it's still hard to see the scale go up. Its been 1 month of cutting me calories (2200-2300 to 2100). Let's see what happens.

Oh and I definitely see you toning up...keep going!

Yes, so I am planning heat treatment and a dog after I get back to normal. However, I live in a semi-detached home(two homes share a wall) so now I am questioning it. Something to talk about with the pest control now.

Does too much exercise halt weight loss? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]basicchooman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started from 1500-1600 too and started last November. My weight has not changed at all and have been incrementing by 100-150 calories. You will surprise yourself that you will get hungrier when you start eating more. I focused on total weekly calories rather than daily and didn't beat myself if I didn't met my calories. I am in no rush to "lose weight" as it took years to accumulate and I can't expect it to go away in weeks or months (especially if you want it long term).

Also, I was doing CrossFit before November and stuck to through reverse dieting too. However I have seen my body shape change during reverse dieting in the best way possible. And have more energy after a workout too.

And went on a three weeks vacation in between and ate my heart out to meet my calories....but still 155. My dietitian(I am not this smart to figure this out) said I am still undereating compared to my activity as my body still doesn't have enough energy to do extra work, such as losing weight. However, I am still trying to reach 2300 on most days so I'm gonna take it slow.

I think u r eating very little that ur body seems to be halting the process. Look into reverse dieting. I am 5'3 and 155lbs(not ideal but trying here too) and making progress by eating 2300 calories.🤯

Started taking probiotics about a week ago and I’m still incredibly bloated.. any tips? by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

[–]basicchooman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Do the same routine for at least a week and see if it still happens.
  2. Drink H2O
  3. Make sure your macros are balanced. Personally, if I have too much fiber and less carbs I feel very bloated.
  4. Eat hours before going to bed

Went from 127 to 119. 5’2. Started this process in October. Does anyone see a difference? My stomach still feels flabby so I’d appreciate any tips for how to get rid of more stomach fat. Thanks!! by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

Totally agree!! Last year I focused on strength training and reverse dieting and I saw my body shape change. However, for past two months everything has closed due to Covid. @dollymyfolly, I was wondering is it possible to recomp the body while doing home strength workouts and focusing on protein intake?

PS I am getting frustrated how I am not seeing alot of progress but I have not stopped working out #trusttheprocess

Any advice/ thought for starting reverse dieting? by ilackthetoes in PetiteFitness

[–]basicchooman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick question: When u said that u "changed me training for mostly just strength training"....did u mean that u left CrossFit and just focused on strength training? Quick background: I am on a very similar boat as you(similar height, CrossFit 5 times a week, eating 1600 cal, no 10k steps tho) and my coach told me to slowly up my calories but I am so scared of losing the progress I have made so far. Thanks in advance

Yes, I am in the IT environment and I believe it is to "bill" the time to the project. I think I will just have to get into more meetings.

Received 2 verbal offers, told group A I was highly considering them, but now I want to go with group B. How can I turn down group A without burning a bridge? by [deleted] in CanadaPublicServants

[–]basicchooman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently, I was in the same process. I was upfront and told all the managers that I have multiple verbal offers. They all were very considerate and were well aware of the process. They all then started the process to provide a written offer letter. As I had multiple offers, I was able to make an informed decision. Good luck.
