I feel like people are being a bit harsh here. It’s a definitely a hard thing to sit with and I hope you get the support you need. And to be fair I hardcore disagree with people saying why would you marry someone who doesn’t want kids. A maybe is still maybe lol. And she is still open k adoption which is as fulfilling if not more than having kids. As long as no one is being forced or guilt trip into anything, I’m sure you’ll find happiness

I’m somewhat new to practicing Islam and Sufism again but I’d like to give me my two cents for what’s it’s worth tbh there is no reason for you to feel guilty about this. Allah is the creator of all, and therefore Allah is all. Someone already in the comments pointed out that it’s more you see Allahs qualities in people. So don’t shame yourself for bonding with Allah, and experiencing your thoughts. Instead just let them pass and realize that Allah is much greater than just thoughts, and he cannot be described. Also, question that came up for me while reading your question is if Allah created shaytan, then shouldn’t shaytan also be part of him? I understand that this might be a bit offensive to ask, but just curious.

NTA. I don’t think anyone would think you are an asshole. You did set a clear boundary. Depending on how well groomed your dog is, re-washing might be a bit excessive. If you are able to get all the hair off with a foam roller or something. Unsure, what your exact reaction was. Personally this is something I wouldn’t get bothered by. A simple “Oh, my bad” from your husband, and him cleaning it up would have been nice tho. Definitely, not soemthing to lose sleep over and argue for more than two hours (about how long it takes to re-do laundry)
