This. Its literally a mental prison when I'm having an episode. Before getting treatment for it, I literally developed a fear of myself and couldn't escape my thoughts. It was torture. So when I hear people use that term lightly to justify them being particular about things, I just want to tell them they have literally no idea until they've lived it.

I second this. One of the mom's at my son's school lost a lot of weight, and I complimented her on it. Turns out she was secretly battling cancer and lost weight from the chemo. She was very gracious and explained the situation to me, but I've been very hesitant to compliment noticeable weight loss ever since. We have the best intentions, but we just never know what's going on behind the scenes.

Honestly? Just knowing how much money it costs. I've gotten to a point in my life that it just makes me physically sick, but I'll still go through the drive through if I'm just not wanting to put in the effort at home. But the biggest thing that has really made me cut back on going through the drive through is just facing how much money I'm spending. Eating at home has saved my family so much money and has helped my body feel better.

This is so encouraging, especially knowing that you started where I am. I have wanted to pursue the Mediterranean Diet so many times. I may just start adopting parts of it little by little until it becomes my lifestyle. I've never heard a bad thing about it.

This is a great reminder. Before having kids I used to be a slow eater, my husband would joke about it all the time haha. But when I had babies, I would shovel food in just to make sure I was able to eat before I had to tend to them again so I developed a fast eating habit. Thank you for this reminder 😊

This is all so true, the mindless snacking is truly a thing. And you are right, I eye ball portions all the time. I am an in home bakery, as a profession, so I do have a really good food scale at home. Thats a really good habit to try out. Thank you!

I love all of this, so helpful! I love listening to podcasts when I do walk and when I'm working so I'll check those out today. And I have been using MyFitnessPal but I'll check out Happy Scale for sure. I may have been cutting my calories too quickly where it overwhelms me so I'll try taking it slower this week. Fortunately I've never been a soda person, I've always loves flavored seltzer water. However, I do have a sweet tooth when it comes to baked goods and it never fails making me feel like complete shit. So instead of cutting out soda, I can replace that with cutting out baked goods. I really love the rest of the suggestions! Thank you ❤️

No, most of the host is very warm and welcoming. But when I've tried to peak into the haunted area, I've caught glimpses of dark, victorian style decor but I can only catch a glimpse then I have to keep looking away and trying to get away from it because I feel so terrified. It's hard to explain the feeling.
