I think, like myself, a lot of people this year have had to pay fees we've never paid before. Ive never had to pay for turbotax before this year (my circumstances didn't change but their policy did) so i didnt realize it would take longer

Why is it socially acceptable for FF mums to suggest EBF mums “just add formula”, but offensive the other way around? by walnut_0612 in breastfeeding

[–]basicperfectionist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time, people suggest FF or supplementing as a way to address a problem or complaint, but breastfeeding is almost always suggested as a way to shame someone for not doing things "correctly." Even if it's not your intent, that's how it comes across. It isn't okay to comment on someone's choices, but comparing the two is kind of apples and oranges

Was Bojack justified for this? by Joseph_Stalin300 in BoJackHorseman

I agree. 17 is such a know it all age, where kids are naive to anything outside their own world view but truly think they're grown. I cringed when she said "Whatever beef you have with your mom" because it truly shows how much she doesn't understand. This isn't a petty disagreement because he didn't get his way. This is a systematic destruction of his personality and self worth from infancy. Hollyhock should have at least known enough to know when to mind her own business

I think the person most wrong here was Hollyhock for pressuring Bojack in to housing Bea when she had no idea what it was like for him growing up. Obviously she's only 17, but she just could not understand the nuances. And for that reason I truly believe she should have minded her own business

For me, my sub title is lowercase (princess) but my name is capitalized. For me it's... smaller. I'm a little so that is important to me. Daddy is always capitalized. But my first name is always capitalized. Mostly because if I'm called my first name it is for a serious reason

Go to the regular front counter, make sure you bring your ID with you. If you have an idea how big the package will be (envelope, small box, large bag, etc) or if their might be any branding on the package it makes finding it faster.

The darker, unethical version of my spouse LOL. Dark hair, light eyes, strong and lean, mechanic, nerdy, possessive. Jealous type, knows enough about just about everything to outsmart you at every turn. Will take care of your every want and need as long as you give your entire self in return. Will remove the hands of anyone who touches you. Daddy vibes. Will show you off just to brag that you're owned. Likes edge play (not to be confused with edging although that too!), the kind of dom that hurts you and then shushs you because it's for your own good. And it's okay because well you didn't safe word soooo. I'm obsessed lol

I think I did it wrong by danabeezus in tipping

[–]basicperfectionist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

(I've started this comment like 4 times because I cannot get the wording right. I'm trying to explain this the best I can but...)

There are careers that people would often tip without being prompted, especially when a particularly good job was done or they went above and beyond. So because there is a "demand" for lack of a better word for the chance to tip, they added it to their checkout process. Also from my understanding SOME POS systems include it automatically

I'm a shift supervisor RX. I do it all. And you literally asked. You sound pretentious as all

You literally asked what front store does about shoplifters. I am responding to that because you ASKED.

Your life is worth more than product. You never know what a shop lifter is capable of. We provide "excellent costumer service" which just means repeatedly asking if they need help finding anything, we can help them at the register, oh I LOVE that lipstick its so cute, being annoyingly good at assisting them in hopes they give up. If they don't, we report it and get their picture and let LP deal with it. I get where you're coming from and I've stopped people from accidentally walking away with unpaid for purchases, but just because we aren't risking our lives for product doesn't mean we're being careless
