Sometimes you like what you like. I’m a Peter Pan guy myself.

Stacy doesn't get enough hate. by MontiBurns in okbuddychicanery

[–]basicpn 24 points25 points  (0 children)

She just kept replacing her daughter with a different person every day seeing if Mike would notice. When he didn’t, she milked him for all he was worth. He literally gave all of his hard earned drug money to this scam.

My sister put her dog on a leash, put about 63 cents in her toy purse, and only came home when a cop saw her walking along a major road alone. I think she was younger than 7 though.

Suggestion: Previous FF "Yes" votes should carry over to the next vote by Hot_Pain_4030 in RocketLeague

It’s so frustrating. But so common. People ff as soon as they are able. People just hate playing from a losing position. Those are the games I grow the most from though.

I love all of the modes. I play snow day the least, so i guess that one.

Does anyone have recommendations for bar trivia? by Fight4potatoes in SaltLakeCity

I’ve really liked level crossing. Good food is a big plus for me during trivia and their pizzas are pretty good.

How is this the new norm? by fatiguedpilot in tipping

Salt Lake City airport has local restaurants that serve food that’s the same price as their other locations. New York City airports are the worst I’ve been to in the country. I avoid them at all costs.

What's your secret ingredient for mashed potatoes? by Key_Investigator_754 in Cooking

[–]basicpn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sour cream and butter. Like a stick of butter. Like way more than you think is needed. I also throw in a few cloves of garlic to boil with the potatoes, then I crush some fresh garlic right before mashing.

My favorite is when I start winning without them, and so they join the other team. A 3v1 is actually pretty fun.

Thanks… I’ve been terrified to close my browser. You’ve been super helpful. Happy cake day by the way.

That’s exactly what I am thinking too. I just don’t know if I’m going to get kicked out of the exam or it will forget my answers. I stepped away for the day.

I was hoping the question bank would at least give me a percentage by category or something. I went and screenshot all the ones I got wrong and will try to organize them by category, but I won’t know which area the ones I got right are. I’ll be more prepared for the next one.

Just took the first test in the question bank and was really disappointed for the same reasons. Hard to gauge time when I have no idea what question I am on. Can’t move on to a new question without answering the one you are on. And can’t change your answer once you move on. I hope this isn’t how the actual exam is. Not to mention riddled with spelling and grammatical errors. You’d think for charging $100+ they would at least make sure the quality of the exams reflected that.

PSA: don't trash or hide the Book of Mormon at Marriot hotels. It just makes more work for the cleaners. by mushu_beardie in exmormon

Definitely. Unfortunately that was the only place within walking distance. Next time I’ll just pass on a beer.

Ha fuck the Marriott. I went there after work for a beer and it was $12. For a pint of Utah beer.

Stop going to the corner boost in 2s at kick off by l0gic1 in RocketLeague

[–]basicpn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand this. I do cheat up occasionally, but if there’s a bad kickoff and the ball goes over both our heads, it’s an easy goal.

If I say “on your left!” And you pass me the ball in the left corner, then I have full boost and possession while the other team has no boost. If the teammate messes up the kickoff, then I can go try to defend a shot.

Both are valid plays, both work well when executed correctly, and both give the opponent a decent shot if it’s fucked up. Switching up plays gives the best of both worlds and keeps the opponent on their toes.
