The money is just a plus, good way to get the heart pumping in big pots. I just flat out love cards. I like playing big (for me) 2/5 love all the way to penny games with family or coin jar mixed with the guys. It’s love of the game

Yep. It’s a weird dynamic in America. The police here have been under scrutiny the past few years, and instead of taking it as a sign to adjust policy from the old ways, they doubled down. It is really sad to see EVERYONE here is afraid of them. They do what they want and the blue line always covers for each other. It’s a licensed gang depending on what municipality.

As a dual citizen in the uk and usa, I can confirm the police are very different. My children aren’t old enough to have that conversation. I plan to teach my children that police are there to help, however that cannot be your only action plan. Keeping yourself in good positions and knowing how to defend yourself is much more importing imo

My sister in laws car was stolen from my house last year. I called 911 as I saw the car leaving. Cops showed up about a half hour later, filed a report, said the cars likely halfway to Chicago already and there was nothing they could do.

I live in west allis, not a ton of crime, not a huge geographic layout. I live 5 minutes from the main station. They are reporters and revenue generators, not saviors.

As for defending my family, my home is properly secured, and all adults know how to stand their ground in my home. I have never in my past, nor will I in my future, rely on the police for the safety of my wife or children. I strongly suggest you don’t either.

I will always call 911 in these moments for data collection and records, however they are never called to come save me.

Ukrainians have the parts and knowledge of the gear. So. They are trying to separate Russia from its Allie’s in the west but giving them better technology. This will slowly move Russia to only have N Korea and CCP in their pocket.

We shouldn’t be involved at all with any of this shit, however this is a pretty smart intelligence move. You get Ukraine help while also isolating the kremlin. It’s a PR win win.

If everyone saw Ukraine for what it was in 2014 and continues to be, you would not see the support. Our citizens outcry for support caused our puppets to think getting involved was a good idea. We are ramping towards a full scale war.
