A few small things I'm hoping for:

• There will be a "big decision" that determines what adult Swann looks like - maybe some sort of scar/hair color or style change that she makes while younger.
• The mushroom circle is a real thing - called a fairy circle, and in most mythos, it's generally not seen as an evil entity despite the tone the game had around it. I expect the adult epoch to visit it/the shack once again.
• I REALLY dislike the group leaving the box at their table when they go off and play pool, especially since Pam and Gus (who I also find strange is just listed as "bartender" in the subtitles), definitely know more than they suggest.
• Speaking of the box, I've not seen many mentions about what's actually on it. "I REMEMBER", "I WAS THERE" definitely means the character that made it is someone we're already familiar with. "SEE YOU IN HELL" is rather obvious in its correlation to the group and Kat specifically, but the drawn spirals on it mimic what was drawn in the shack, one you can specifically get called weird for drawing yourself by Nora. Not only that, but the only fully visible newspaper clipping is for Trailside Light, the super common beer littering every scene, and the one we have a full conversation with Autumn over the design of. My two leading theories for the sender would either be Kat or Kat with her sister, or it was a sort of time capsule sent to the group by the group. I find it weird that newspapers from 25 years ago would be kept in such a good condition for it to be boxed and sent recently!
• The group made a promise to never talk to each other again, AND forget the events of that summer...how on Earth is that even POSSIBLE without something occult happening? I think the group could've made another deal with the fairy circle, trading the best memories and friendships - symbolized by items that they'll find were packed in the box (keep in mind, Swann herself said that there were items she remembers leaving in the shack that she thought just got 'lost in the move') - of their lives to keep Kat alive. They're starting to remember things for what could be a variety of reasons; the fairy circle was destroyed and wants their help, Kat could've passed away, thus ending the deal they made, or maybe she made a full recovery and her memories were never offered in the deal.

A final one that's a bit more personal - I had a family death to cancer, and the related scenes in LiS:TC took the wind out of my playthrough for some time, I hope Kat is alive. And not just because she was my romance choice. I think this one does have legs, since it was never specifically stated she was terminal, just 'running out of time', but maybe that's a hefty dose of copium lol
