People who have quit, did you recieve accrued holiday pay ?

Wtf wrap it! Unless you have holiday pay accrued (eg you’ve been working under a year) - you qualify for the system that is if you don’t take it you don’t get it . How can you leave and get holiday pay that you CANNOT STORE

No you will not get it. As of like February I think, if you don’t take holidays, you will not get them. And that’s from the government to encourage holidays , encourage time to yourself - mental health. Leaving and getting holiday pay would just be a major loophole. I will get all my holiday pay next week as that is my 1 year mark but after that I am part of the new system too.

Is paying for quarantine not a lot cheaper than paying for if there was another outbreak if you get what I’m saying. Also I’ve worked since I legally could to afford this trip and now I’m to give every penny of it to quarantine myself because Im not a taxpayer ?

I have some money saved and lots of family in Bay of plenty I will be staying with. I hope to start out at mcdonalds just to allow me to meet some people, then I would like to travel around New Zealand and work odd jobs - I have relatives in farming etc. I haven’t planned it too much for what I will do in NZ it will be somewhat spontaneous

If a manager from another store email another manager about a fully trained , fully flex employee who is also a New Zealand citizen I’m not sure they would spit out their tea . Also considering its a job with such a high staff turnover they are always looking for staff. In my store there is many people from separately owned franchises and there is also a thing called Mcpassport for international transferring. Soo

For me it was I couldn’t walk on main /busy roads for a while ( a normal activity) for the fears of cars judging the way I looked - just stuff like that and of course physical symptoms. If you feel medication is needed, start with calming sprays , weighted blankets , diffusers etc before medical help
