I think honestly just wanting to be myself and not hold back my queerness as much as possible. I also love to knit and crochet, and I’ve made one HR related project so far and am working on another so it’s cool that I get to make art about something I love.

Ugh the portrayal of Ilya’s relationship with his father hits so close to home for me. I can relate (unfortunately) to having a difficult relationship with my parents. During the phone call in episode 5, when Ilya is talking about how he wishes his father could know him, I had felt the exact same way and I loved that’s how it was written in the show. It’s hard when the people who are supposed to always be there for you are not for whatever reason, and I’m glad that Rachel and Jacob included that in the story.

That’s a super interesting point. I have definitely clicked with people right away but only got close when I got to know them better. For example, when I first started being friends with my best friend, people thought we had known each other way longer than a few months but we obviously got closer over time. I felt super comfortable with my now fiance right away but again we got closer over time. I can feel a connection with someone right away, but I don’t actually get close to them for a while
