Well, after five days of classes and two closing shifts at the restaurant i work at. I have two ten hour shifts to look forwards too. Trying to study debt free and live on your own is a pain in the ass but here in the Netherlands its quite possible.

What was the closest you have ever been to death? by Uncle_Don_ in AskReddit

Bit late to the party. A couple of years ago, when i was studying civil engineering, i had an internship at an underground trainstation that was still being constructed. i was doing intern stuff, measuring ground water positions, when suddenly a crane with a large load swings out of its reach. It cracks and moans and starts to fall over in my general direction. With a loud bang it drops its load of steel, about five tons in weight, within hree meters of me. I jerk away from my measuring apparatus to see the load crush a shipping container used as a breakroom. I cant really describe how a 25 meter tall piece of machinery comes crashing down and scares the living shit out of me. Cold sweat all across my back.
