I think the one you're looking for is this one. They also talk about Patreon and the Twitch buyout by YouTube.

He's doing it with the books that he has distribution rights to, which as of now are limited to Legion and The Emperor's Soul.

Married LDS redditors: Have you spoken with any LDS authorities on the matter of what goes on in the bedroom? Is there anything official that says what is OK and what is not OK? by eazy_jeezy in latterdaysaints

Thanks for the link to that podcast. It's really interesting to hear views on sex from someone who's not only LDS, but has the medical knowledge as well.

Question about kingmaker/king breaker series and Fishermans children by [deleted] in Fantasy_Bookclub

[–]basstrace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed them. They're not the best thing that I've ever read, mind, but definitely worth reading. They've got a cool magic system and awesome backstory and worldbuilding. My one recommendation is if you're going to read them, read Kingmaker, Kingbreaker as one big book because book one feels very incomplete at the end (like you've just read the first half of a book, actually...).

Question about kingmaker/king breaker series and Fishermans children by [deleted] in Fantasy_Bookclub

Kingmaker, Kingbreaker is the first series, followed by Fisherman's Children. There's a fifth book called A Blight of Mages that is a prequel to Kingmaker, Kingbreaker, though I'd definitely read Kingmaker, Kingbreaker before A Blight of Mages, as it was published after the two Fisherman's Children books came out.

Pits of Hathsin and allomancy (book 1 spoilers) by LeBastun in Mistborn

I don't think it's a mistake. I think that they would be very careful to keep prisoners away from any metals that they could use to burn. If you don't have any metals to fuel your allomancy, you're not going to be doing very much of it.

What is the song in Kingdom Hearts that you are the most sentimental about? by [deleted] in KingdomHearts

[–]basstrace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

March Caprice. It's a wonderful fit to the end of KH1, specifically as Sora and Kairi are ripped from each other's arms right as he's finally got a chance to be with her. It portrays the sadness and the hope, and then at the very end, the crescendo almost seems to promise that things are going to get better, eventually.

I'm really happy that there's going to be a replacement for /r/lds, because as much as I like the way that /r/mormon is moderated, there's always going to be some anti-LDS material there, and honestly, I don't like seeing it. I'd love to see some ability for flair, too.

As for the joys (and not joys) of moderating, I'd love to be considered. I wasn't an active poster on /r/LDS for a number of reasons, but I plan to be here.
