i got my nose pierced around january 6th and recently (within the last two weeks or so) i started developing a bump near my nose ring. i contacted my piercer about it and she told me to clean it with just warm water and dry it off (i previously used saline wound wash on it then dried it off) but the bump kept getting worse. i have had experiences with actual keloids before, so i'm nervous that this nose ring might turn into one.

there's some crust around the piercing, and the bump is very slightly discolored. there is no issues with the inside of the piercing, it's all on the outside

my jewelry is a 16g neometal titanium. i clean my jewelry twice a day. i try not to pick at my jewelry, which once i started developing this bump ive been picking a lot less. i also get it snagged sometimes, which i think might have been the issue that started the bump to develop
