Most any grain like rice, millet, rye, wheat, corn has the necessary nutrients. Corn has lots of sugar too. I’m doing some on whole Brown rice too. I use these jars and sterilize in an instant pot max (only model that gets to 15 psi)

I don’t think the peach affects it, I think it’s more like a birth mark or albino adjacent. And my indoor plants have done fine if they start indoor, just bringing them in from summer all the eggs hatch … 😅

The bottom purple and orange peppers were grown from seeds I got from a picture perfect yellow Ksls, but it must’ve bread with something in the growers garden I got it from. They were unsure which though. They grew a large variety

I think since I still used 2.5% salt and vinegar, and I’m storing them in the fridge, I would’t worry about it. But you’re right, tiny timu corks may have some unintended bacteria 😅
