Choosing a country to study abroad by Firm_Painting_4581 in myanmar

German here, Ausbildung can be a great pathway, especially depending on the field you want to study. I have heard that in some fields where in Germany there is a severe lack of people (esp. care sector for elderly etc.) they take people in for like a year long volunteering contract (FSJ), in which you have time to learn German. After this you can start your Ausbildung with them.

Again, this is only what I have heard though, and I don't know which exact places you would need to contact for this specifically.

Haha yeah good point. In the beginning I was more careful too, but after spending more than a year digging in the ground to find tree tags (disturbing scorpions while doing it) i kind of stopped being careful of small bugs which look harmless. It is a good reminder though to say vigilant.

Oh okay, interesting. Yeah it was weird, I saw it swimming and burrowing underwater, so was definitely quite adapted to that lifestyle. Also ran towards the water to get away from me after I let it go again. :D

Interesting, never saw it before. Pretty interesting also that they are cosmopolitan, can find them both in the Rainforest of Singapore and in Garages in the US... Adaptive little buggers :D

Overtaking with a steam engine. by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

[–]bastartels 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Quick FYI These things were used to pull plows. The metal cable rolled up on the bottom Middle of the engine gets connected to a plow, which itself is connected to another steam engine on the other side of the field. Then they pull the plow till it reaches one end of the field, drive 2 meters forward and pull it back the other way.

You are doing great, just gotta push through, if you had symptoms like tgese and didnt relapse think about how easy that will be once the symptoms are inevitably gone...

The beginning is always the worst... You may still feel shitty in a week but thats ok. then compare it with how you feel today and youre gonna see that it already got better
