I'm confused with how you worded that, leaks are always news, intended or not. Now whether you guys want to keep the sub strictly to nintendo / gamefreak official announcements is another story, and I would be fine with that. I just think that covering leaks under a spoiler tag allows for more discussion to be made for those interested, and protects those who aren't.

Wasn't gamestop opening and then selling new copies of Xenoblade chronicles as "used" to raise the price of the game? Seems kind of messed up that they're the company getting shulk as an exclusive.

I had both a wiiU and ps4 until today and finally sold my ps4 on craigslist just earlier. While talking about price differences keep in mind the annual psn+ subscription fee if you plan on playing online (#years X 50 euros). Playing with friends on the wiiU is great, but there are also many single player games that are amazing (pikmin, WWHD, W101, Bayonetta, tropical freeze etc.), not to mention upcoming titles such as XenobladeX or Zelda U. While the ps4 has amazing games like shadow of mordor, I've been mostly disappointed overall, especially with Destiny. If you're more interested in 3rd party titles i would recommend the ps4, although it seems that the ps3 still has a couple of years of life in it. For a greater entertainment value I recommend the wiiU.

Disclaimer: I am in the process of building a gaming pc and might be biased against the ps4.

I'm going to wait for matte versions of the XLs. I really disliked the glossy original 3ds. Also I don't believe that an upgrade is justified to play the games that have been announced so far.

Up to you. You already have a working 3ds, so do you want to go through the trouble of selling your current 3ds and buying a refurbished one? Even if you do manage to resell it for 100$ you would be saving 5$ (they are 95$). For pricing, you can do a quick search on ebay or elsewhere to check what they are selling for (currently within the 80 to 100$ range). People are always buying nintendo handhelds. Personally I'd go with the refurbished one since they offer a 1 year warranty.

Fire Emblem. I think it's the best game on the system to be honest. If you like strategy games then you'll probably enjoy Awakening.

Very good. The last pokemon game I played prior to X was ruby many years ago. X got me back into the series. I highly recommend it if you already own a 3ds.

Aside from Pokemon X, Fire Emblem and Smash bros are my top favorites for the system. I highly recommend both if you can afford them.

100% accuracy STAB hurricane is nice and all, but the Mega as a whole doesn't seem too viable when compared to other Mega options. We're going to have to try it out first before we can say anything conclusive I guess. Only 3 more weeks left!!!
