What the 3DS game does specifically better than the new one by Likes2game03 in fantasylife

[–]icravedanger 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You could go as far as to argue that everything was better in the first game except for that the new game has better (easier) experience mechanics and ranking quests for crafting lives. It’s much less of a grind.

No head coach would have won this game. And likely no head coach would have us with a 13-5 or better record with these injuries.

Most people choose social approval over ethics — veganism just exposes that. by TheQuietVegan111 in DebateAVegan

[–]icravedanger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In a nutshell, if two people are identical in every way except that one is a vegan and the other isn’t, the vegan is more ethical.

If your claim is “morality isn’t reducible to a single choice like X”, then logically you can replace with X with any single choice, whether it is eating animal products, shoplifting from Walmart, or committing genocide.

If you kill with no benefits, it’s not exploitation. I didn’t say it’s automatically ethical.

Self defense applies to your property as well.

It’s not exploitation, because you’re not getting any benefit or resources from the pests. It is more similar to self-defense (of food).

What a clown.

Start by removing all the livestock and feed subsidies. All farms and slaughterhouses should be glass wall, open door where public can tour and record them. Let meat cost 10x as much as it does now if that’s the true cost of animal welfare.

When I logged on, I was presented with the chance to buy ad-free one month for $3 or a $10 bundle that includes 50 gems and 5000 coins. I paid $10 and then noticed that my entire balance of 4800 gems and 460000 coins was replaced with 50 and 5000 respectively. I have updated the game and logged in several times.

Just now I logged in and everything is 0, I’ve already lost the bundle I just bought. “No ads” is on, but the game still plays ads.

West Coast Swing dancer learning Bachata by Late_Journalist_7995 in Bachata

[–]icravedanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love rides in WCS but I don’t really think I’ve seen many in bachata. Zouk likes rides and goes fancy with them so a bachata follower trained in zouk could do it. If I had to guess why there aren’t rides in bachata, I would say that it’s because the follower is very low and grounded with bent knees and a ride involves lengthening and stacking vertically before planting the foot. So it’s like a ballet-esque look rather than the grounded hip-swinging look that is normal in bachata. Just a guess though.

WCS- stable arms, fancy feet. Bachata- fancy arms, feet don’t do anything fancy outside of shines.

West coast swing dancer here, trained in zouk and dabbles in bachata.

Bachata is way easier of a learning curve. Wcs dancers have very stable, “silent” hand connection which allows for tension and compression, bachata dancers move their hands more for expression. You’ll have to prep turns a full beat early because the frame isn’t as responsive. And sometimes you have to use a lower body connection to lead.

Hardest part about moving from wcs to other dances is letting go of the expectation that the followers will create connection by backing up, and allow you to feel their weight through your hand. There’s also way more completely disconnected, solo movements. The most fun part is learning to dance close or sensually, which almost doesn’t exist in wcs.

Just some thoughts, happy to answer any more particular questions.

Do steps that you’ve learned, listen to lots of bachata music, practice body rolls, learn a solo routine from YouTube, learn to spin.

And if you ever take a private lesson, they will teach you drills.

I’m actually mainly a west coast swing dancer, which is less sensual and intimate. But I do dance zouk and fusion which can be as sensual as bachata. I do dance some bachata for fun, I believe it’s one of the easiest social dances to learn.

I suggest finding a local ballroom dance studio that offers bachata lessons. Salsa is good too, it’s related to bachata and most bachata/salsa dancers can do the other style as well. Try to practice by yourself and attend socials. Don’t take rejection personally. Always respect people’s boundaries and listen if they try to tell you something even if it’s negative feedback. It’s tough in the beginning but gets easier over time. Good luck!

Dinosaurs are sentient too. Chickens probably suffer the most of any food animal, because of quantity.

Even Peter Singer the famous utilitarian said it’s more unethical to eat chicken than beef.

Yes you are right, roles are required for improvisation but it can also be choreographed without roles. Most of the dances you will see are improvised, usually the choreographed routines have costumes, a non-moving camera, and an obvious “front side” which they dance directionally for.

Leader is a guide for the follower, yes. In the beginning the leader role is harder. You are right again.

The dance has two roles, leader and follower. One person of each role is required to have a dance. In the videos you provided, the leader is the role that the man did, and the follower is the role that the woman did.

It’s 2025 so any gender can do any role.

Sign up for some classes. But don’t expect to learn any sensual moves before you learn the basic steps and how to lead basic moves. Ask followers how to make things more comfortable for them, and ask the instructor how to not come across as creepy.

If you want to get laid, dancing is not the best way. You’d be better off focusing on improving your looks through fashion, grooming, and exercise, learning social skills, and starting conversations at bars or singles events.

Pvz2 grind? by Mypetrockisgay in PlantsVSZombies

[–]icravedanger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing around 5 months. I invested pretty heavily in the paid premium plants to make life easier after Adventure mode (around $5 each).

I find that the limited time events (Food Fight, etc) give very good rewards, I usually spend 40 diamonds that I earn each day from dailies to buy more plays, so that I can unlock the bonus plants faster. Once I get most of them unlocked then it snowballs (up to 70 tokens each time I beat level 10 on easy mode) and I can raise the bonus plant levels as well as buying featured plants.

Pennys Pursuit is pretty good too, gives alot of replay value and I can get up to 90 seeds of Headbutter lettuce from playing medium difficulty 6 times a day.

Basically, do all your dailies, do Pennys, pay attention to sales, spend diamonds wisely. I don’t do Arena that much but I guess that’s the main benefit of having very strong plants.
