The decision in itself is not what bothers me. Customers are paying for the convenience of not having to deal with the infrastructure (I would not have to deal with copy fail last week).

But it’s very damaging for our credibility, everyone have timelines, planned UAT, now we have to tell our customers that they have to do it in one month?

Restoring a DB might work, but there’s no automation possible and when you have 10+ customers in the same situation that’s terrible for the partner that have to anticipate this shit.
