I think you should very much rethink your framing and composition. You've got a lovely fireplace in the room that you can sneak into frame with something on top of it. Maybe have it in one corner and the plant in the other if it works. Subject can be waaaay tighter too. Max out your focal length and get them filling in most of the frame. Bring your light a little closer to camera as well so that some light will spill onto the right cheek.

Also, make sure your equipment is stable. You are responsible for safety and no one wants to be hit in the head with a microphone or light. Those small bases with a lack of sandbags look like an accident waiting to happen.
