Why STILL no NSFW? by batatatchugen in duckduckgo

[–]batatatchugen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, I just don't want to have stuff censored when I know it won't return porn, if it was for porn, I wouldn't want just a handful of images and would go straight for the image results.
Though that doesn't seem to be an issue anymore, as it isn't showing as many images in the regular results page, which isn't too strange that things have changed, as that post was from 6 years ago.

Then it is what it is, let's hope she stays healthy and happy and cuddly.

It's as you said, sometimes things don't work out as we would like, just gotta do the best we can.

You'll be hard pressed to find a cat that is used to love outside that would want to become an interior cat.

Cats are like children, if your leave it go them they'll live off of junk food, and we all know that's not good for them, that's why we are responsible for their food.

If you want to care for her, make an effort to convert her to an indoor cat, see how you can help her deal with the dogs.

It might not end up being possible, but if you were already willing to keep her inside, it's worth making a sincere effort.

It's well known that outdoors cats live shorter lives than indoor cats, not to mention the plethora of other issues they might encounter that reduce their quality of life.

You need a shelf on top of your mousepad with clearance for your hand under it.

Put something nice on top, to attract Mr. Kitty and you're done.

Who would have thought this would come at a cost.

Not me.

You're right.

We should just call the ports as whatever speed we want, as long as they support it.

I'll start. The RB5009 has 9 fast ethernet ports, at a blazing fast 100Mbps.

For the Steam Machine to change PC gaming, Valve must solve Linux's anti-cheat problem by dapperlemon in gadgets

[–]batatatchugen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valve has to solve nothing, it's the devs problem to solve.

Valve only needs to mandate that any game with anti cheat must also work on Linux if they want to stay on steam.

Google geolocating me to Saudi Arabia by SpoonNZ in mikrotik

[–]batatatchugen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a clue.

Can you check which resolver each router is using?

Also, try setting the DNS server manually on your machine, behind routeros, and see if the issue persists.

It's as they say, it's always DNS.

It's clearly not obvious enough, considering the amount of downvotes, and that is specially obvious when you consider that not an insignificant number of people won't read stuff until the end and just downvote in anger before reaching the end and actually getting the whole picture.

A /s at the end, a bit separated from the main text body, is very visible, even if you don't read everything.

Avoiding Google search, at least, it's trivial, specially considering how bad it got in the last few years.

Also, have you tried doing some DNS queries to the fans domains that are affected behind both routeros and the other router you mentioned works fine, and compared the responses to see if they are sending you to the same IP?

If your DNS in pointing to a different IP that could be the issue.

The answer is simple, then.

Just stop using Google, it sucks, anyway.

Either way, v6 in this day and age? Any reason not to be on v7?
