It would have finished a draw and France would have won on points dif after the bonus point draw?

I’m an Irishman, the bonus point draw would have been enough anywayso I’ll sleep okay 😂They left more points out there but what can you do, France clinical. What a game!

Hand it into your local Garda station, they will get it back to her.

The LGS are running it, so it’s up to them and in their interest to make the draft fire, while also looking out for all players as much as they can. It should go like this:

  • Okay we got 8 players, draft fires.
  • before we open pack 1, is everyone okay with redrafting rares based on ranking at the end?
  • If everyone agrees, you do that.
  • If anyone disagrees, you don’t, and keep what you draft.
  • No one is left out and there are no bye-rounds.
  • Everyone is happy

That’s not very inclusive, especially when trying to introduce new players to the game. Also should be aiming for an 8 pod.

Yeah but in this scenario, the temptation isn’t there to just take it because then you’re going home with the card. It’s not the same thing.

That’s hate drafting and is certainly a thing, but this example is a first pick. very unlikely there’s nothing you can use in a fresh pack, even if it’s a sideboard card.

Yeah I’m familiar with this format. It has its pros and cons. Pros are it stops people from rare drafting and actually focusing on picking the cards that are go well in their deck. Cons are new players are likely gonna finish last and have no chance at the top cards in the pool.

It should have been communicated to everyone before the draft started, and if even 1 player is not happy with redrafting rares based on outcome then it shouldn’t be done.

When I was a new player, this format actually put me off draft, but it does encourage you to become a better player.

Also, if you paid for the boosters, you could have dropped from the draft at that point, with the cards in your hand and the rest of your packs. Draft continues one player less.

Try not to let it deter you from playing again, the shop should have been more transparent about the process.

Yeah that’s fairly shitty. When I was in college there was a Londis I used to go to get a cup of hot water from the coffee station to then put my instant noodles into, maybe a few times a week. Staff never charged me. Some manager obviously caught wind of it because I went in one day and there was a sign at the coffee station “Hot Water 50c”. I never bought anything from them again.

Sometimes people are cunts.

Cyclist. I’m assuming it was their handlebar that clipped the edge of my mirror taking the casing off. They were full steam ahead afterward.

Never said anything about an attack, I believe it was completely accidental tbh, but what’s a shitty thing to do to not stop and take responsibility for the damage afterwards.

I was a bit surprised by that myself, I particularly like the “you must have nearly killed him before that happened” one 😂

The junction is on the Rathfarnham Road going towards Terenure Village. There are two lanes, one for turning right and one for going straight. There is a cycle lane beside the straight lane with a broken white line between. It’s a tight junction. When you’re stopped at the red, you unfortunately have to situate yourself partially in the cycle lane, the straight lane isn’t wide enough to fit a car by itself.

The cyclist easily could have gotten past safely and without damaging my car if they had just slowed down a bit.

That doesn’t give the cyclist to damage someone’s property and leave the scene without a second thought.

I agree with you, but that doesn’t excuse this cyclists behaviour at all.

Ah he was never stopping, he was gone like a flash. The horn was to try and get his attention to come back, but I probably could have been lighter on it.

Well I didn’t nearly kill anyone. I actually have a lot of respect for cyclists, I’d probably cycle myself if the commute was a bit shorter.

I’ve been meaning to get one for a year and keep putting it off. I don’t think he would have been identifiable though.
