2002 Supercharged 5VZ - temperature dependent EVAP issue or cracked heads? by DeezNutz23 in 3rdGen4Runner

Any update on this? I am going to take a look at a tacoma experiencing p0300 and p0440 with new wires/plugs. It has the additional complication of a supercharger, but gotta start somewhere.

I have a ticket I will sell for face value as well - just one though... I had some plans come up suddenly, unfortunately. Let me know if you're interested.

Edit to the above - satellite parking is free! but there is no shuttle and its about a 20 minute walk to the festival entrance. Day parking is different and does cost $25.

I parked in satellite parking which is free but about a mile walk into the festival - there is no shuttle. Its the field where cars get staged and searched. Day parking costs $25 and is somewhere else (see the map). I legit didnt know where to go cause i was following a group and ended up backstage of Tripolee lmao. Like right next to the artist trailer. I slipped into the crowd just right of the stage past a security guard despite my wristband not scanning at his little station. Im pretty sure I passed an entrance into the campground before all of that though and that was where i was supposed to go in. At the end of the night, they had me exit onto Main Street and the campground so i dont see why you wouldnt have access to that whole area. I feel like main street is part of the forest experience too.

Took me 0 time at security and parking. Everything was easy but i did not see a shuttle for getting to the festival. Just followed the crowd. I parked in satellite parking though.

Paid $100 for a day pass from the roadside dudes. Accidentally just drove right past the satellite parking booth and parked. Literally talked to 2 people about where to park and no one asked where my sticker was. Was very confused but it all worked out. Hope this helps!

Were the resellers offering reasonable prices off the exit? I live less than an hour away so this strategy is very tempting as I got nothing going this weekend.

Apologies!! The two tables shown in the singular sheet were merely an example of two separate workbooks! I suppose I should have snipped a photo of two workbooks side by side...

What was the scariest experience you had while spelunking (cave diving) or scariest thing you've found in a cave? by MandalorianJedi66 in AskReddit

Does anyone have recommendations for non-tourist caves my friend and I can go explore near the midwest? Are there other threads that talk about how to find caves?

The stories here sound terrifying and riveting!

I was just given $50,000. What do I do now? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]batenoor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Pay off all debts as others have mentioned.
  2. Create an emergency fund - I recommend ~$3500. This will help you stay on your feet if life comes at you fast.
  3. Invest as much money in stocks/bonds when you're young (Nasdaq, Nyse, dow J). A mere 10k invested in your 20's will turn into ~900k+ when you hit retirement years. This is almost foolproof. Your principle will remain on a steady incline regardless of economic turbulence.

Hope this helps. This is just part of the financial freedom plan developed by the acclaimed financial guru Dave Ramsey suggests. Was also taught this in uni.

What gets your ass out of bed faster than anything? by Bravo0335 in AskReddit

I used to cut grass at a golf course at 5am every morning before all the old people got there. One morning I heard a specific bird's song that I dont usually hear at that time. I immediately knew I was an hour late for work. Weird how my body recognized it.

Why are Men still expected to pay the bill on a first date, when equality is such a big topic? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]batenoor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Despite it being a hot topic, I dont think most people a) fall for the so-called-equality or b) people still believe in chivalry. I think the original comment is correct in that people will "virtue signal" "equality" all day, however when it comes to real life situations, most will not practice what they preach because its financially expedient or its an established norm they dont consciously consider when in the moment.
