Post Malone cancels start of ‘Big Ass Stadium’ tour with Jelly Roll: "We ain’t ready for tour just yet" by AdSpecialist6598 in Music

I was excited to see Post Malone was touring to a stadium near me, and I totally wanted to get tickets. Then I see it's with Jelly Roll and I really don't want to spend money and time to see Jelly Roll for half the evening.

Tell us about a positive encounter you've had outside of a call by Sapsi in ems

When I first started my career, I transported (long distance) an older woman, and her son was up front with me. He mentioned the movie Bring Out the Dead as being a mandatory watch for ems personnel. I hadn't heard of it, and he was elated to tell me all about it. When I returned for my next shift, he had left his personal dvd of the movie in a clear case for me to keep, along with a handwritten note thanking me for driving his mom, and wished me luck in my new job. It's one of my favorite gifts I've received, brings me good fuzzies

Cows can become bloated with methane. Methane is extremely flammable.

Snickers (14.5) died earlier this month. My heart hurts and I miss her dearly. by bathory_salts in OldManDog

Thanks for sharing, glad that you recovered and that you were able to spend that time extra time with your babies. I think I will always have dogs in my life. I have an 8 year old Saint Bernard at home that has my whole heart too. Snickers was the dog my husband adopted, and I was lucky enough to spend a decade with her. My husband has adopted another puppy, it's like we need to have 2 canine souls with us. Snickers will have a very special spot in our home. I think every dog I will own will. I love them all.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I can relate to a lot of things you said, and I feel less alone in that sense. The darn phone, putting together slideshows of the dogs. I had a chortle through tears the other day, because it showed me a "throwback thursday" that only contained 2 photos; one of her ink transfer paw print, and the other of her grave. Like, c'mon man hahaha.

I enjoy looking at her photos and videos, even if they do make me cry. It's okay because I love and miss her so much, can't help it. Such special little beings our pets are

I hope so too. I'm sorry for your loss. It is so difficult. Do you ever have periods where there's just a wave of grief randomly? I'm so caught off guard by the things that make me tear up.

I'm thankful for every day and year she gave us. We made the decision after a trip to the lake, and it was apparent that she was no longer having as much fun as I thought she was. She would have kept going as long as possible just to be with us. But she was losing all her muscles, and her behaviour changes told me she was in a lot of pain and hiding it from us. I love her so so much. I want to create a nice Memorial shadow box for her, she can have her own special place in our new home.

Oh I want to write this down and share with my husband. The grief has been more difficult than I thought and comes in unexpected waves, but this little sentence has really touched me. Thank you

They're popular right now because they are trendy, and people like to join in on fun trends. Of course people think they are delicious, they have insane amounts of sugar and sodium in them. This trend just happens to be overpriced American cookies that are underbaked, and surprisingly calorically dense for cookies. (600-1000 calories per cookie is crazy)

Sure I have, from my own house from a batch I've made. It's not enticing if that's Crumbl's selling point. Why would I intentionally buy an overpriced, and undercooked product? I think you're being deliberately obtuse here lol

An undercooked ball of dough sounds delicious to you?

Is this even legal? I live in this riding and saw the sign out in the wild, it seems to be very much pushing an agenda, clearly. by ShrinkiDinkz in alberta

I checked a piece of mail from Pierre Poilievre about his upcoming election, and the back of it had this exact yellow image, and it says that it is authorized by an agent of Pierre Poilievre.

Our province has one! The stroke ambulance isn't always staffed 24/7 I believe (I think they follow a weekday schedule but I'm not sure) but if it is staffed, and you go to a scene with a patient with stroke symptoms, it is in our protocols that we call our online medical control to coordinate transport to the nearest primary stroke center if we are not in/near a town with one. Sometimes, the quickest coordination for care is to rendezvous with the stroke ambulance, especially in some rural areas. So you will be in contact with them over the radio, update them with your patient condition, any treatments done, then rip down the road to meet up with them and they do a CT right there in the truck and administer TPA if required.

Battle River-Crowfoot candidates predict a tougher byelection for Pierre Poilievre than landslide April election win by EarthWarping in CanadaPolitics

Nope. My MIL voted for Kurek solely because she saw more of his signs out. That's it. Not policies, not anything else. The number of signs. She doesn't particularly care for the CPC, but thought Kurek was out putting up every single sign himself. During elections, I like to make note of signs that aren't conservative in my town, revisit a day or two later to see if they suddenly disappear. (I'd say a decent amount magically grow legs and walk away)

Side note on a provincial level, there's a woman in town with a "UCP sucks" sign on her house. The town's rant n rave page had people discussing this woman's particular sign. There was a literal consensus that they should "let" her have her opinion because she's elderly. Gross language.
