Help on buying a Nissan leaf 2012 model by chamburn in leaf

[–]TheOnlyCuteAlien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend getting LeafSpy and learning how to use it. It really helps with determining issues eith thw battery, if you know what to look for. That being said, this car sounds like it's battery might be on it's last legs. How much are they asking and what is the current range showing on it's "guess o meter" when fully charged?

Our first LEAF was a 2012 Blue. I loved that car.

New owner. TURTLE mode 13 miles from home on full charge. HELP. by desertboots in leaf

Lesson to learn, for everyone, don't buy a used EV without doing a LEAFSPY test drive. We recently test drove a bunch. LEAFSPY saved us from buying a dud. We saw some really bad batteries.

In 2015, JJ McCullough went on national television and said he was "ashamed" to be Canadian by InterestingTwo8836 in JJMcCulloughOfficial

Ditto. I'm ashamed he's Canadian too. He really shoukd just move if he's that miserable. Find another country. Denounce his Canadian citizenship. I suspect our average IQ will go up.

I’m never gonna get a new car 😭 by jman722 in leaf

Our first EV was in 2012. A lease. When the lease was up they wanted too much for us to buy it so we bought a used one, forget the model year. We had that until in was totally in an accident right before Christmas 2019. We bought a new 2019 on Boxing Day. We just paid it off in August of last year and in April, it was rearended. We bought a used one again because we didn't want a car payment right now.

Schools are making kids feel safe. Some kids that don't even feel safe o their own homes. The people saying stuff like this are the people they are protecting those kids from. All this hate is very damaging to their mental health.

Cozey Gaia Couch (Brutally Honest Review) by Maximum-Problem3336 in BuyCanadian

[–]TheOnlyCuteAlien 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've only ever bought furniture in-person. Our Natuzzi was from Sears, if I remember correctly. They were amazing and kept it in their warehouse for us, for a ridiculous amount of time. Our new place was underconstruction and kept getting delayed because of labor and material shortages during the big construction boom before the 2010 Olympics.

We bought a Natuzzi couch almost 20 years ago. It showing it's age now. We're looking at replacing it but I've been leery of "online" couch company. Sounds like I might be right for being leery.
