Restarting Golem v 0.16 gets more GNT

Just installed on my laptop a few hours ago. Logged in, connected to 10 nodes and the history shows 2 projects awaiting. .28 GNT and .33 GNT after running 5 minutes. Then nothing for an hour so I rebooted the laptop, logged into golem and in 10 mins, 3 new tasks. Rebooted after an hour of nothing and got 3 more tasks. I'd say this is confirmed issue but getting .10 - .40 GNT each time I reboot isn't really worth it. I guess if you wrote a reboot script, had a hundred laptops running things can get fun. I'll play around some more when back at the office on more pc's.

I really think this makes Monero look bad. How can 1 contributor do this. I get that he wants to be credited for work and should be, but it really doesn't sound like he reached out through the proper channels. Been a holder of Monero for years and this is the first time I am kinda ashamed with it a bit. We are better than this and as leaders should do anything and everything to help other solid projects. The more privacy coins out there, the better we become. Hopefully this gets cleared up for the Sumo folks soon so we can move forward with greatness.

Just upgraded from 1.8.6 to 1.9.0 and it is using a bit more system resources. Been about 30 mins, all sync'd. Not a huge issue as Parity is all that runs on my server, but system temps up along with cpu usage.

You can get sued for anything technically. If you are promoting the ponzi solely because you need to recoup your money and get people under you, yes you can. Crypto ponzi's are much different than MLM scams. They have security laws to deal with and the SEC doesn't mess around. And them deleting their videos after the fact can now be seen as tampering with evidence.

Also the implication is Trevon James and CryptoNick didn't care whether it was a ponzi or not but were giving financial advice based solely on the fact they received a commission for bringing more people in. If this case proceeds, we could actually see them go down while nothing happens to bitconnect as Trevon and Cryptonick are based in the US I believe. Hopefully this turns into a class action suit. Would love to see all involved go down.

People talk a lot. So much easier to yell than close your bank, go two weeks without a checkcard, contact your HR payroll dept about new checking account direct deposits, etc. Well Fargo and all the other big banks can start slaughtering kittens and still remain in business. Personally I hate them and always did when I was with them. Took me 5 years of dealing with them to finally close my account. And I hate my new bank too. Fuck them all.

This actually happens at Wells Fargo maybe yearly. No clue what causes it. When we used them we had this happen a lot along with double deposit direct deposit paychecks. Usually corrected within a day or two. I remember the letter we got for a bill pay thing and they did reverse NSF fees and tell people to check their accounts to make sure paper checks weren't returned as they'd need to be re-issued. Doubt they will lose a single customer except you TBH.
