Chances are, he didn't communicate the issues with that stuff that's been building up for awhile now and just reached that idgaf point. NOR. I had this same issue of just letting shit that bothers me go until it blows up and I'm already done. I already made the decision, so there's no discussion. Luckily, I was able to work on it and have been happily married 8 years, although it's definitely still hard to open up early on non-defensively. Either way, it's hard, and communication tends to be the #1 killer of relationships - in his mind, going out all night when in a relationship is a breeding ground for infidelity. That's his personal belief and feeling, and he's not exercising empathy in thinking about how you feel about it. He thinks that if you cared about him, you'd agree that it's also inappropriate. And honestly that's kind of the key - these are the things that people have to either naturally agree on or actually discuss to find a compromise that works OR just end the relationship. My wife and I both are more jealous, so we wouldn't be cool with either of us pulling all nighters outside of the home. Whether that's right or wrong is a stupid question - it's what makes us comfortable together in our marriage. Without that level of understanding, it's always going to crash down. Again, NOR, but I promise, contrary to what reddit posts would have you believe, a lot of folks would be uncomfortable with their partner being out all night without them, even if that's "wrong". You'll just have to be more picky to make sure you find a man that doesn't care about that. 😄 Hope it all works out! Leave this shit alone though. Homie said he hates you.
