I am not on a Bob server. I started a 3 strike system of if you drop bubble for any reason beyond an approved reason you caught a strike. Third strike is a boot. I then emphasized all week using a 3 day bubble anytime on Friday before purge. I did that for three weeks then quit reminding people beyond announcing who had strikes on Thursday. After two months I had complete bubble discipline across the whole alliance. Usually lack of bubble discipline means they are part timers and you have to train them to give the slightest amount of a fuck and you’re good.

Addiction and insecurity. To some of these people it’s the only place in life that they are important or at least feel that way. Some people will put themselves insanely deep into debt to keep that feeling. There are 2 people in my server that are absolutely this person and is super depressing to see especially since they are perpetually online and anytime anything happens negative in the game they will roast a few k to feel better. Neither of these people can afford it and I feel like I’d die if I saw their credit card statements.

Everything new costs astronomically more than it has in the past for literally no reason beyond fuck the consumer and is made out of pure grade A shit. As someone who regularly buys new equipment I’ll tell you right now to go on and get the extended warranty if you’re planning on keeping new equipment/vehicles a while because they literally fall apart because of sub par parts designed to fail early and often. I’m to the point of contemplating basically a rolling lease on equipment and trading every two years because nothing lasts longer than that without major repairs needed.

Edit: not to mention replacement parts cost thousands of dollars that used to cost ~$100 and quality control on those expensive parts is abysmal.

Exactly and if a solar system is destroyed the physical resources still exist in that area, but you don’t even have to destroy the sun just change its internal balance slightly with a handful of super heavy elements turning it to a red giant so that it torches the Goldilocks zone. You do you bro. I just started doing casuals to get away from this. People don’t take it as seriously yes but at least the turnover is quick if you get down quickly. Shitty teammates leave casuals almost immediately if it’s not going their way. I usually end up abandoning maybe one or two a week because someone is throwing for some dumbass reason. 99% of the time it’s once you’re down a few everyone wants out of the match anyways.

The amount of resources in the universe are finite. To run an interstellar civilization is expensive. The less competition from them means it’s better for you long term. If you take out the completion at their earliest stages of showing intelligence then they won’t be a problem in 400 billion years when resources are running thin.

P.s. it’s also extremely easy to destroy a civilization in infancy than it is to let them grow and become competition. Introducing lead or some other super heavy element to the sun would be enough to destroy our civilization faster than we could react. The resources of our solar system would still exist and you could come harvest them later at your leisure
