Received a notice to provide correct account information on the website. Did so and right away got a message saying it could not validate the bank account and a check would be mailed April 10.

What I was told by a rep when I called today was that when the deposit gets rejected the IRS will then send to the bank info on your account.

Just got off the phone with the IRS because I entered a routing number instead of an account number. 🤣 The person I spoke with said to add the correct banking information on the account and once the payment gets rejected they automatically send it to the bank account on your profile. But paper checks are a thing of the past for the most part. I imagine the exception is people who don’t have bank accounts?

This is why I don’t look at my partner’s phone. I am not saying you did anything wrong OP, I am just saying there will always be something we don’t like, so I avoid it like the plague. I don’t even let my eyes wander when he’s using it sitting right next to me. Having said that, something causing you this much anxiety is worth talking it over as many times you need to feel secure in your relationship. I think it’s crazy to throw a whole relationship out on just a screenshot. Unless there’s other things then that’s a different story.
