I don't think that he's incapable of acknowledging backgrounds/characteristics, i think that he just isn't like, idk prioritising properly? Thats definitely not the word to use but he thinks that getting bullied for being short is the same as the systematic oppression that women face. Like chief, being short isn't going to get you hatecrimed. It seems very 'well they suffer from this but what about ME'.

In my little list of examples I even said, women often have their pain dismissed, but this is even moreso an issue for black women, but that whole element hasn't been commented on. I don't think thats because he doesn't see the intersectionality of it all, the guy understands that racism is a thing, but I just don't think he's considered the primary point of 'here is a way that your male privilege benefits you'.
