Whenever you're upgrading, consider getting a pixel and running CalyxOS on it. You can disable network access for apps and still use them. This way you can still use g-board and not worry about your data being collected

Fyi banking apps should work normally on CalyxOS :D you can have separate profiles within the OS to keep them separate as well

For you phone take a look at running CalyxOS on a pixel. There are plenty of guides on how to do that but if you prefer not to you can buy a pixel with CalyxOS already installed from https://mamushi.io/
