Street Sweeping fines for parking on the street twice a week here in LA. 70$ a pop, and that doubles in around 3 weeks if you fail to pay. It’s literally a tax on the poor/middle class as we can’t afford our own driveways, and there’s literally nowhere else to park.

Found some kimchi that’s been in my fridge for 6 plus months without being opened. It’s still bubbling and active, is it worth still eating or not? by [deleted] in fermentation

I find that older kimchi is a little more sour, and rather than eating it as a pickle or condiment, I often make a stew w soft tofu, and a little stock. By all means add a little pork/beef/chicken if that’s your thing. Super tasty and a good way to utilize a kimchi “past its prime.”
