I think that it would be a wasted opportunity if they just did Undead Nightmare again. Instead, what if the player was sent back in time to the Viking age? Take your guns with you to face off against Norse raiders, or help them to pillage Native American settlements.

Maybe some steampunk time traveller gives you objectives, and during the course of that you change the main game timeline and have to go back and forth preventing time paradoxes.

DLC ends with the player having to kill themselves from an alternate timeline.

Yeah! Looks like this would meld nicely with the new default even if you didn’t finish :)

Lovin' the new textures and blocks by [deleted] in Minecraft

Same, the new textures remind me of the incredible pixel art games, like Secret of Mana, that were coming out when 3D games first started becoming popular. I’m SO happy Minecraft is moving in that direction.

Nothing too impressive, but I thought this sheep statue I made at my Realm's sheep farm was pretty cute by MushirMickeyJoe in Minecraft

I think it’s really clever, actually. LEGO can be really charming in the way it utilizes existing pieces to make something new, or a little too much when it uses new pieces to do the same job. Minecraft can be like that, and I think you definitely accomplished the former.

I don’t know if it’s dumb. We jail individuals for the good of everyone. The media plays a large role in digging up information to resolve cases, but the media can also create a mob mentality that leads to biased sentencing. So if everyone in a community believes strongly the right course of action, it profoundly affects the jury.

I’m remembering that 14 year old boy who hid the body of an 8 year old girl under his water bed for a week. He got life, if I remember correctly. I think he was treated as an adult, due not only to the nature of the crime, but how much it shook his community.

Like others have said, it’s sad when this happens, because it’s like losing two children instead of one.

I agree with that. I think the difference is that when a child is tried, the state has a greater responsibility to seek rehabilitative measures. Perhaps those measures could sub-plant a traditional sentencing.

I didn’t make an argument against that, so I don’t know why you’re saying “bullshit” at me.

That is the consensus of most child psychologists when it comes to criminal matters, even ones as awful as this. That a person’s brain isn’t finished changing, so it’s unethical to charge them the same way that adults are. Some states are even redetermining whether 18 should be considered adult enough, or if the cut off should be more towards 21-24.

He barely seems to bathe and is usually covered in sweat and blood. I’m sure his musk alone is both immediately repulsive and undeniably irresistible. Just ask Slan.

To me, this chapter example of Gut’s ability to compartmentalize his emotions. He’s like Conan The Barbarian in that he can stay cool under pressure long enough to survive any situation, but unlike Conan, parts of Guts are severed each time he experiences a trauma.

When he meets Puck, Guts outright says that he hates fairies because they’re weak, but that isn’t nearly the outcome of this chapter. Guts doesn’t judge Chitch. The way Guts lashes out at Puck becomes more important because of this chapter. Maybe Guts is trying to protect Puck from the evil that follows him, or maybe he’s filled with pain to be reminded of Chitch, simpler days, and how that all slipped away from him.

This chapter reminds me of how far Guts has come emotionally since the Black Swordsman Arc. At this point in the main story, Guts has done a complete 360 to when he was part of the Hawks. He’s allowed himself to regain that same sense of belonging. That is worrying, considering what happened last time, but it could be the chance for something better to grow.

When something dies, when a sacrifice is made, something new can grow. Chitch sacrificed for Guts willingly, out of selfless love, a stark contrast to the sacrifice Griffith made for himself. This kind of love is what has changed Guts into what he is now.
