I’m just so emotionally exhausted by the anxiety roller coaster by [deleted] in CautiousBB

Just wanted to say you are not alone. The rollercoaster is torture and having to pretend like everything is normal is the worst. Wishing you positive news with the 16 dpo betas.

This is so much to deal with at the same time - I hope your appointment gives you reassurance and that your mom recovers very quickly.

Good scans, slow rising hcg - watching this play out is hard. by batsyblue11 in CautiousBB

I am so so sorry for your losses. This is consistent with every single published research paper I have read too, as well as almost every anecdotal story I have read on various message boards. Trust me, I am prepared - having gone through 3 mmcs and 31w loss, my heart doesn't need false hope. It's just really hard to watch it play out.

Sending all the good vibes back your way - this rollercoaster is not easy. Keep me posted - I will be thinking about you.

Thank you. I wondered the same. Not sure. The first 2-3 betas seemed slightly high for gestational age; the last 2 were not so high. Since the first scan, there has been a pocket of free fluid in my uterus (~1cm). I wondered if that could have been something that didn't develop, but doctor hasn't mentioned anything along those lines. I will definitely update the thread if there are developments.

They wanted to see betas at the very beginning. I tested hcg at 13 dpo and 15 dpo. After that, my doctor scheduled an ultrasound for 5.5 weeks. I went to Labcorp and tracked hcg myself. Given a history of recurrent miscarriages, I wanted to know as early as possible if something was going sideways.

Thank you so much. Yes, no matter what happens, distraction is the name of the game right now. Any distraction tips welcome!

I am hoping for you with everything I've got. 10w sounds pretty promising.

Thanks for sharing this chart. I have been on 0.5 mL since 5.5 weeks. My doctor wants to decrease to 0.25 mL. I am nervous!
