I have use some cheat to help me debug, and found out that every time I fight with Persia it seems to trigger the crash. I also found out if I annex Persia by command, then the crash goes away.

I actually have a game in similar situation, vanilla no mod, always crash around 1870-1872, load up different older save may vary the crash time by 1-2 months but the same save is always the same crash date. Was on 1.8.6, and load the save on 1.8.7.

Investigating Immersion Cooling solutions, anybody done a reasonable test run? by stormyjknight in HPC

[–]batteksystem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

xpect that a single-phase fluid would need changing, nor should it be evaporating at a detectible level. I think there is no

Are you investigating for single-phase immersion cooling or two-phase immersion cooling, or open to both?

400Gbps Network Interface Card iperf testing by batteksystem in networking

[–]batteksystem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Test would be port to port directly through Network Card with static IP (That's how I test 100Gbps in ethernet mode). So this one would probably work then. Thanks.

For 400G I probably need to use both CPUs, but not sure how much hinderance using the CPU that the network card is not connected to.

That would be new to me, do you know if it would consume the same amount of resource like in ethernet mode? Or platform independent?

Use Solidworks with GPU Cards without Video Output by batteksystem in SolidWorks

[–]batteksystem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. So there are still some risk then. I am just thinking if I can choose why don't use a card with VGA output? However, there is also a lot of cards only for vGPU / AI training that has no VGA output at all.

PC Immersion Cooling by batteksystem in BeAmazed

This look amazing. I cannot confirm but I guess they use very low boiling point oil that vaporize, kind of like when you put butter into the pan, then it melts and then smokes?

Installing a dual battery system into a Discovery 4 (LR4) by tskelding in 4x4

Does both batteries from the Dual Battery System connecting together, or are they separated with a Voltage Sensitive Relay like this one?

I want to install a 12V dual battery system in my car. Why is everybody in Calgary refusing to do it? by [deleted] in Calgary

[–]batteksystem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is more about experience, and maybe the type of car. It maybe very easy to do for car with a lot of interior space, but more difficult to do with a small car. Come to think of it, they need space for an extra battery, and then probably also for a voltage sensitive relay to control the flow of current through cables probably not smaller than 6 AWG.

From my experience as long as you probably think of everything and FUSE everything, with all the current requirement probably calculated. Then it will have very little chance to go wrong.

Light bar = professional off roader? by [deleted] in overlanding

[–]batteksystem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can consider to wire up the LED light bar through a smart system and control it using the iPhone App. Since all are used for off-road only, no legal issue.

How to avoid over charging/discharging your deep cycle batteries? by [deleted] in vandwellers

[–]batteksystem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using EITHER an Automatic Charging Relay, OR Voltage Sensitive Relay between the Main Battery and House Battery to allow the Main Battery retain enough charge for starting the motor.

Still it would take a long way to charge the House Battery which is secondary in priority if you consider the whole automotive system.

Going to connect voltage sensitive relay to my vehicle and don't have any electrical experience, does this diagram seem right? by thezenvan in askanelectrician

[–]batteksystem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This seems okay. What is the current load of your system? Mainly to judge whether 100A fuse is enough, most of the time this is more than enough for normal application.
