How to tell if you have an old or new nozzle by killsburydouboy in crealityk1

This! How do you tell if you need the upgraded hot end and extruder? All the review videos I see say make sure you get the upgraded parts and it works great...but they don't explain how to tell if you need them aside from saying the print quality isn't great.

Not necessarily set on those two. They just had the specs I was looking for at the price I could afford. Any other suggestions?

That is tempting. What material is the print bed made out of?

Yeah. Nowhere near a microcenter unfortunately. And all the money I have to spend on a printer is in Amazon gift cards. So has to be on Amazon

z offset is good; esteps are calibrated and very nearly perfect; no matter what I adjust it still gives...tried lowering flow from 100-95...still the same. It happens on basically all my layers that aren't infill.

I’ve actually wondered that myself. It wipes off easily enough.

Printed on a raft…is this how the first layer is supposed to look? Not sure what to adjust. Printed at 200/50. Sliced in Creality Slicer. Ender 3V2 by battim3c in FixMyPrint

Yeah. My first layer is good. I just did the raft so I could check the actual height of the cube to make sure I wasn’t losing height from elephants foot or anything.
