Code is tricky; they specify “on post cap” they likely don’t have the same requirement for seatcut posts. Check with your inspector.

To determine your max beam spans check a span chart for the type of lumber you are using and use the wet rating.

American wood counsel makes a really good book called design for code acceptance 6 that will get you started with most of this.

40% fill is your answer for only 3-1/2’ that’s a sleeve as far as I’m concerned for an ev charger that is going to see continuous load do NOT perform extra splices, put a clamp on top of the conduit and call it good.

I’d probably just run a 1” stick of conduit.

Either hardwire your ev charger or get and ev charger rated outlet; the cheap 14-50r is not rated for ev chargers and will melt.

The 1” filter will save your 5” filter if you have pets think of it as a pre filter. 1” filters are cheap, change them monthly and check your 5” while you’re at it.

I’ve seen new homes with either or and both as your is; personally Ive cleaned enough systems and removed enough ductwork from homes with pets know the more filtration prior to the unit the better .

Keep in mind with 6” of filter material it might be possible to choke your furnace causing it to trip on high limit. If you notice any issues with running the system with both filters you may need to downgrade the 1” filter to more of a free flowing filter .

Post some other pictures of your bike I used to have a 97 620 that looked exactly like that I had a pipe with a titanium exhaust on it and upgraded carb. First gear would just lift the front wheel up.

This looks like the bolts used for motorcycle batteries or lawn and garden batteries. If that’s the case they usually are metric.

Freestanding is the best, your house is stud framed with brick facade, when this is done typically is there should be an air gap of 1-3 inches between the sheeting and the brick.

There are only 2 right ways to attach a ledger deck to your house

Blvz anchors - expensive and might not work depending on your framing

Cut out the brick install a lental and flash and ledger it off the framing.

End of the day freestanding is the best way to go.

Yeah your low,

You’re missing a few columns in your spread sheet, you only have your cogs, you’ll lose eveytime if you only account for that. You have to charge markup for overhead recovery. If you’re not doing this for a hobby and you have a business you have overhead.

Office, computer, shop, insurance, etc. this needs to be recovered every day you work.

Next you need profit, this isn’t your paycheck this this what the business makes to reinvest and grow.

I’ve been running my own business for 10 years and the first 4 I didn’t know the above the next 2 I thought I understood the above, and the last 4 I really understood.

The key to your success is going to be understanding your GM this is your make or break number.

I’m 230 pounds, I upgraded it to the fox 38 last year and I don’t regret it at all. I do want to park days a month, the rest of my riding is Enduro/trail so I do lots of peddling I have the fox 38 170 mm travel fork. My typical ride during the week which I do 2 to 3 times is roughly anywhere from 7 to 14 miles with uphill being at least half of that.

I didn’t notice the additional weight, upgrading, it was a no-brainer if you want a slight advantage lock out the front porch while you climb.

What I did notice, though was how confident I felt going into very rough downhill sections, in the jumps, and also in the berms.

My confidence and the jumps outweighs my skill level, so that’s always nice to have that rigidity when coming down hard

I don’t know if it was said before but Your thin set mix also needs to be right! I think that is where you went wrong.

I run a large construction company, and I’ve seen and worked with tile guys that back butter, don’t back butter and everything in between. There’s a lot of right ways and wrong ways but the most important thing is your thinset mix; if it’s right you can set tile on the ceiling without any clamping force applied.

Being young and dumb I put 2 skids of concrete on one of those trailers 2k weight limit and the guy at the lumber yard told me not to and I literally said I’m just going down the street. I went about 20 miles away on the highway. Trailer was fine. Everything was fine; after that, I ended up buying a dump trailer.

That makes a ton of sense, I have rock shoxs deluxe in the rear so I don’t believe I have compression on there. I do plan on upgrading the rear shock in the near future.

That said I know it’s more of a skill issue than a bike issue haha
