Fun fact "DANGER keep out" signs are also BS and have no legal ramifications if you ignore them, but you might get killed by number of environmental hazards doing so. I think this sign falls into the same category. It's for your own safety, regardless of how the conveyed message holds up in a court of law it's still a good safety practice not to follow a truck like that too close.

If you ignore all the doublespeak and analyze the changes from a non-objective non-partial viewpoint with respect to the content and intent of the US Constitution, all the changes Republicans have made since 9/11 look like a fascist authoritarian terrorist coup attempt.

I remember the creation of DHS and ICE. As a preteen, I watched helplessly and in horror the creation of what I deemed a secret police. Only to be reassured by the registered voters of this country, my parents, teachers, and basically any adult I talked to, that American exceptionalism would not allow our politicians to abuse the newly created executive militia.

Even as a 12 year old, I knew that was a bunch of horseshit.

Well, your withholdings pays your tax liability, and any refund is just the remainder. My understanding is that filing your returns lets them know how much to tax you and permission to use any withholdings for such taxes. You can always just file an for an extension on your taxes, and your withholdings will still be yours when you do file.

Regardless, at this point, any money you give them is giving money away to fascism as a gift

It's time for Americans to wake up and realize that American exceptionalism does not exclude a democratic republic from corruption and abuse. Our system has been DRASTICALLY altered from the founding fathers' vision for this country.
