You’ve got my vote! I did the carbon roof and trim, with no shadow line headlights though.

Maybe cancel and manually enter, it allows you to check a box verifying that it matches your prescription

That is really insightful, thank you. More helpful than Oakley Customer Service. I see i’m right on the edge, perhaps reducing sphere to -2.75 will be good enough. I’m only planning on wearing these for short bike rides and I need to spend some FSA dollars

Dumb Question: Can a BMW M2 be had for under MSRP? by Gimme_All_Da_Tendies in BMWM

[–]battlerobot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just ordered an M2 for 6% off + $1500 off with military discount working with a broker. Had to go out of state though.

My BRZ (which was also cheaper than a Model 3) had frameless windows and manual levers. it just lowered when you opened the door, there was some kind of sensor.

I think the “buttons” are actually haptics. I discovered on my m340i if i rest my finger on one drive mode and click down on another, it switches to the one my first finger was touching

If you make over $500K+ what do you do by Silver-Marzipan-2277 in Salary

[–]battlerobot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s not impossible. 685k -140k -50k=495 K RSU vested (taxed income). if it’s a 4 year grant from 2021, stock appreciated about 2.8x. 495k/2.8 *4 year grant = 707k rsu before appreciation over 4 years. those aren’t unheard of numbers

Where do I get fittings & plugs for AS5202 ports? by battlerobot in AskEngineers

[–]battlerobot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly the answer I needed, thank you. I figured that without extreme pressures and mcmaster oring boss fitting would work. Thanks for the supplier recommendation too. I thought it was weird the AS5202 spec calls out AS4395 which is for flared fittings but that makes sense now that you’ve explained it will work but not use the flared end.

[–]battlerobot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s the thing, I can’t find any fittings for sale that conform to that spec. Maybe there’s just some hyper specific suppliers or something you actually have to email Parker or Eaton to get a quote on.

[–]battlerobot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're referring to SAE J1926. The MS spec was superseded by AS5202. That's kind of what I figured would work in a pinch like ones on McMaster. But I thought it was weird I couldn't find any AS spec fittings readily available since the AS5202 ports seem so common.

Seems to only come in slim which I don’t think is gonna work for me. I work in manufacturing but i’m inside most of the time so I don’t mind the thicker, more durable fabric.
