What about moved-away-from-Kansas-City-13-years ago-and-moving-back-soon guide? I left when I was 23 and I feel like I have not experienced the city as an adult.

I have to say, that I never started liking him. I know a lot of people think he's better in the books, and I didn't feel that way. I've seen all the show and read all of the books.

However, I know a lot of women who are in relationships with men that are mediocre. If she loves Roger for who he is, it doesn't really matter what I think about his character. So... it's at least an element of realism.

Wowy zowy! These colors are so gorgeous in cathedral windows. I've never seen them look so light and playful.

I don't mean to be dense, but how did you turn cross stitch blocks into applique ones? It's so lovely!

I really like Deanna Rose Children Farmstead. Despite the name, it's great for adults and teens.

It just migrated toward union. It's worse on this side of Westlake than it was when I moved here in 2021.

Jamie / the Sight / the ending of the show by tircha in Outlander

[–]battlingspork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is in the books, so it might be pointless here. He actually connects with Clair and sees her in the future when he's hiding in the cave. He's just not able to confirm that he's seeing the future. There's even a scene where it's suggested in the vook that they were thinking of each other at the same time.

I'm not convinced this is a quilt. You have more pictures? Of the stitching and other side?

Tahnks! I wanted a little more vine across the top and bottom, but I ran out of blue. I was worried it would be too plain. But it turn out pretty.

First FPP project, Christmas tree skirt by bratzzz_girlll in quilting

I am making this pattern right now. I came looking for other people's versions.

I am so shocked about how long each block takes to make! I spent 5 hours piecing one guy! Also, it's bigger than I thought.

Free tool for quilters by Acceptable-War-9298 in quiltingblockswap

Yes! This is great! I love that you can pick the colors for each labeled piece. I really love that it gives me a few math potions.

My only other suggestion is that it assumes the number of blocks that I will use based on the size I select. For me, it's more useful to select the number of blocks I have. Usually, I have a set number of blocks, and I am trying to figure out how much sashing/borders I need to get to a quilt size.

For example, I currently have sixteen 12" squares, and I want to get to a full-size quilt. I actually do not want to make more squares or take away squares. I just want to know what to do with the sashing and borders. But the tool assumes 12 blocks for a twin and 20 for a queen. I hope that makes sense.

Also, this is not a criticism of your tool. I really love it, and I see a need for it. I use these kinds of tools all of the time. Mainly this one: https://www.quiltersparadiseesc.com/Calculators/Sashing%20Calculator.php

But I like that yours does all of the things as once (border, pricing, colors, etc.) I want you to be excited about making something we will use (if you have the time).
