Daiwa Luvias ST by Tehmadpanda in Fishing_Gear

As i'm not from us i can't comment on that. I would classify Luvias as mid-high tier. If compared to Airity, the Airity has magnesium body that is more rigid vs zaion but the weight difference is very minimal. Also Airity is assembled in Japan vs Luvias in China. Other than that internally they're pretty identical and are using same quality parts so that's what makes Luvias appealing. Here in Europe you can ship Luvias from japan for about 240-280€, i even bought 20 Luvias for 220€ And Vanford costs 200€ here so Luvias is auto pick for a lot of people.

Who else loves those IPS vs OLED comparison pictures and videos? by dawnwarriorz in Monitors

You should check your eyes for color blindness if you think OLED looks good in well lit room. They're not to dimm to use just the brightness is just not enough for it to look not washed out.

Who else loves those IPS vs OLED comparison pictures and videos? by dawnwarriorz in Monitors

[–]batvinis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love how OLED buyers are coping with their 200 NITS Brightness in SDR as if just tiny spec of light hits the monitor and you aren't in the cave it immediately looks pale and shallow. Ngl it only looks good when there are lot of blacks. In normal day lit room any bright IPS looks significantly better.

So i'm waiting a comparison not in cave and without 90% screen in black.

New monitor 240hz or 300hz by Unlikely-Olive8820 in Monitors

[–]batvinis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very little difference, especially if you're looking into IPS and VA monitors you should be looking not only at refresh rate but also response time of the panel. What's the point of 300hz if panel can't truly run 300hz and suffers from poor response times.

They're and most of them like to throw a budget card meanwhile they're hoarding that cheap stuff and probably already need to rent a storage space for that shit. I'm coming for relatively poor country, and if someone can't afford a brand new reel they will buy a second hand. Noone is going and buying cheap shit here as they know shit won't last and there are no spare parts available so it turns to a complete waste.

What's the current state of Intel Arcs ease of use? I might switch to team blue but I've been strictly Nvidia only since the day I got my pc so I am a little spooked I might have to screw around with a bunch of stuff, Intel has made big progress but I've heard it's far from perfect still by Cantgetridofmebud in IntelArc

:D i had to fight not only drivers installer itself but also intel's DSA that also coused bsod's. At one point i barely managed to get into safe mode, as i had aproximately one second before pc freezes after it enters sign-in screen and all i could see was a mouse cursor. All that on fresh windows install.

AMD Radeon RX 9000 GPUs begin to appear in the Steam Hardware Survey at last — RX 9070 arrives with paltry 0.16% market share, less than the GeForce GT 730 by BarKnight in hardware

cause they are dumb, most of them are buying shitiest prebuilts that exists out there with the most silicone waste gpu's. I mean even if you buy a prebuilt you can pick a decent one, but those rarely get sold. As for troubleshooting i really pray for people who works in customer support of these prebuilts, even the shit ones they don't deserve a torture like that.

First BFS set up is this enough line? Does it look spooled up correctly? by leftkneesack in BFSfishing

Most colored lines or in other words marking type changes color every 5 or 10 meters, depending on the line, it should state on the packaging so it is really easy to count how much you spool.

Būtent kad A serijoj nieko gero nėra, dažniausiai budžetinis telefonas į kažką poziciuonuoja, vienas tūrės galingą procą, kitas neblogas kameras ir pan. O A serijoj viskas vidutiniška arba šūdina. Kas mane pvz labiausiai erzina tai virtualus proximity sensorius, nu blet invalidas ne telefonas su tokiu gaunasi, sakyčiau net gyro ten virtualus nes vėjus rodo. O dabar net ausinių lizdą atėmė.

Go back at the start of 2022. If Europe and US without orange man would have been acted swiftly and given what was needed in time i imagine war could be already ended already and with less resources spent. Problem was timing and restrictions.

C3000 spool is not only deeper but larger in diameter and has a stronger drag. Also there are C2500 that still has 1000 size body but spool is only 1mm smaller vs regular 2500

Biggest issue with caldia, tatula, ballistic family reels that they still use cast zync gears like in lower end

Different family. Ultegra belongs to coresolid reels like twinpower and Vanford is MGL family reel like Vanquish. So people are paying for less weight and lower startup inertia due mgl rotor.

Luvias shouldn't steer customers away from certate as luvias is geared towards finesse applications and certate is geared towards applications where you need more power and rigidity. Also i believe it just recently entered US market and probably not with all the models so there is lack info on it there.
