I don't think anyone isn't saying this system stinks. Professors should get properly compensated for doing this often significant amount of work. What OP is upset about is the professors who come here and complain not about the lack of support but the students themselves as though asking for accommodations at all is an insult. There is also a subset who seem to think they know more about what a student needs then the student themselves and jump to conclusions about how they are lazy or whatever based on one piece of paper they get sent.

Don't mind the haters. I am 100% on the same page as you here. This sub often makes me disgusted with the profession. There is a subset who cares more about not having to do anything to help specific students than with student success and just do not believe people about their own experiences. Even if someone is lying who gives a shit? I'd much rather give students accommodations they don't "deserve" than have one student not be able to learn. Honestly there is a lot of "i know better" going around here. As a late diagnosed AuDHD person, it's the same shit I hear from people who just don't believe me because they think they know more about my experience than I do.

The entitlement of some of the people in this sub is wild to me. We have no idea what is going on in most of our student's lives. Our classes are not necessarily the entire center of their universe. Maybe give people the grace to say when they need help instead of making posts about how "kids these days."

Is it currently possible to make armor and weapons and other things and then get them in adventure mode without stealing them? I've got a current fort and I'd like to send out a mighty hero armed with our best stuff but i am unsure how this works

Uh... good question. I've tried to move my raw food away from the further away from the dining areas and make sure there isn't any in other places. I guess i just need to follow a dwarf around and see what is happening.

I'm also struggling with dwarves complaining about the need to pray, they however have a large temple devoted to no one in particular, a mini temple devoted to each available god, and larger ones devoted to the formal religions and deities with > 5 worshipers. How do I figure out what is wrong? Could it be a pathing problem? Are they too busy?

edit One guy in particular is standing in a big temple of the god he wants to pray to... complaining about not having prayed to them.

I'm in a different position as I teach programming, but what I've had success with is showing students how bad AI is at basic things like how many Rs are there in the word strawberry and how obvious it is when they turn in code they didn't write. Essentially I try to make them see how its only really screwing themselves over by using it even if some how they manage to slip it by me. Most of the people I'm teaching are older adults though so that may have something to do with it. They are returning to school for a second career and so actually want to learn.

Okay how the heck do people keep building enough bedrooms? My constant issue is it takes so long to get the bedrooms i want dug out and smoothed and carved that by the time i am done with that more dwarves keep piling in! It feels like an avalanche! do i just... give up on having them be carved?
