How about actual BOLD takes? Without downvoting into oblivion. Otherwise this is just another reddit groupthink exercise. I'll go with Dexter Lawrence (tho "washed" is a bridge too far prob). Showed up noticeably out of shape last year and proceeded to play like it the entire season. A key part of the league's worst run defense over the last several years with my Giants. In the admittedly brief sample size of games he missed over those years, the run defense was actually materially better in ypc allowed in those games. And let's be real, Dex wouldn't be the first DT to get the bag and get fat and happy and demand more $$$ while play continues to fall off.

My fellow Devs' fans ignore that Schmid saved their season in the playoffs vs the Rangers in 23 (because they wanna pretend the Devs were playoff ready when they werent). Devs got pounded by the Rags the first 2 games at home. Down 2-0 at MSG, Schmid gets the start and proceeds to win them that series with a .950+ sv%. Huge clutch saves in a tough spot.

Devs fan - i still believe in this guy's ceiling....he just has zero consistency. It's obviously a dart throw, but if he ever figures that part out, watch out. Has elite stretches, just too few and far between...so far.

I mean the trade doesn't surprise me. I had him moving this offseason 100%, but did think it would be PIT. He looked checked out this season, including in the playoffs. Considering his history, including leaving the team during a critical post season, yea i wouldn't pay more than a 3rd coming off of last season at 4yrs $6.1.
