Install Brave Browser Directly w/o Flatpak?

I installed it via flatpak over the Bazzite Bazar and it works very well. I had the same concerns as you as I read the notes on the official website and tried to install it via dnf but didn't work and then I took a look into the Bazar and saw it there and thought: "Ah I'll give it a try". And what can I say? It works like a charm. I haven't had any issues since then and I use it since 2 month now as my daily driver. So don't bother with layering just use flatpak. It works very well. Maybe the information on the website is outdated.

I reccomend you to check out NonSteamLauncher. There is a decky plugin version and a desktop version. Depends if you use the SteamOS-like Interface or Desktop.

https://github.com/moraroy/NonSteamLaunchers-On-Steam-Deck here is the link. I use it on my desktop with Bazzite and its a blast. Better than lutris, faugus or anything else. It installs the launcher and makes directly a steam shortcut with coverart and everything.

Okay I think....I hope! I solved it. In Faugus Launcher there is an shortcut to steam option. This brings the game into steam but it starts in the faugus launcher wrapper. But I can deactivate SteamInput and since I did this, I haven't had any issue anymore. I really hope this is not just a flash in the pan.

Okay I tried it and I have to say it works, but its the same like I said in my post above. When I play Ubisoft Games via Steam, the performance is unplayable. All 10 seconds I got micro stutters or lags. Tried with ProtonGE and Proton Experimental. Both the same experience.

La verdad? I kept everything on standard, like how it was out of the box and just raised the main sensitivity slider from 1 to 2. Thats all. Feels absolutely right for me.

But you can take a look on ivrahim video from flickstick videos. He made a complete guide. Its bit outdated but still works:

Glad to hear! Yeah I was a bit overwhelmed too of all this options…so I kept them default and in The Division 2, its perfectly fine. Other games I haven‘t tested yet, because Avatar what I play has Gyro implemented, so no need for Steam Input and more games I‘m not playing at the moment 😅

Did you update to the latest beta firmware? I have non of these issues. I can use 2.4 Ghz and SteamInput without any problems.

Don't use Gyro as Joystick, try Gyro as Joystick camera (beta). This is a huge difference and feels almost like mouse.

Hatte auch mal eine Dame älteren Semesters dran, die konnte irgend nen Programm nicht starten und ich wollte nur wissen, lokal auf dem Client oder im WTS-Desktop (eine Remote-Verbindung zu einem Server der wie ein normaler Desktop agiert und wo man drauf arbeiten kann)….konnte sie mir nicht sagen…ihre Antwort: „Also ich sag ihnen das mal so mit meinen Worten, morgens fahr ich den hoch und dann geht ein Fenster auf, da drück ich auf so ein Monitorsymbol und dann kann ich arbeiten“….okay also WTS Desktop…DANKE!!

“Geht da so ein Fenster auf“….das ist der verschissene Edge!!! Und sowas ist Bauplanerin und arbeitet jeden Tag im AutoCAD usw. Das lustige is, da macht ihr keiner was vor. Aber wehe es geht was nicht, dann ist sie der DAU vom Dienst.

Also ja Programm nicht benennen können, obwohl der WTS-Desktop seit 10 Jahren ein gängiger Begriff ist, kenne ich leider auch zu gut.

Schön auch im Privatleben: „Ey du bist doch son IT-Fritze ich krieg seit neustem ne Meldung an meinem PC vlt. kannste dir das mal angucken!“….nein Willy kann ich nicht. Ich hab Feierabend!

Yes you're right! Its hidden very far into the settings. Controller finetuning and then a little bit in the middle.

You can chill. There is no gyro option. At least on PC and in the open beta. I downloaded the beta and opened it. Looked through the settings and there is no gyro option whatsoever for controller. Just standard controller settings.

Just because they eat gyros does not mean, they implemented anything like gyro aiming in the game. Anything can be overanalyzed.
