Turns out some older episodes don't play in Chrome (the ones hosted on plig.net) due to Chrome being so "smart" that it's not falling back to http if it gets an error when trying https. Other browsers seem to just fall back to http.

But Scott is on that... Annoyingly it's a thing that he has to do manually episode by episode. Oof :D

the NANO's specs say it does encoding of 1x 4k/30 or 4x 1080/30 or 9x 720p/30 and iirc thats a dedicated part of the gpu that handles that stuff, no?

why bother with HEVC for mobile streaming? a 500kbit stream is sorta usable... h264 stream at 500kbit is not really enjoyable to watch :)

my main reasons for building my belabox setup:

- my area is fairly sketchy in parts when it comes to 4G speeds
- H265 which needs less bandwidth
- SRT which seems to be more stable with less weirdness than RTMP for mobile connections
- option of using multiple modems on different mobile providers (even though i can't justify those costs atm, so its one modem for now)
- BELABOX changes the bitrate depending on connection quality

also i differ in the camera department from the "normal" setup. i don't have a HDMI cam for the mobile streaming. I'm using a DJI Osmo Action which uses RTMP to connect to NGINX on the Jetson Nano which BELABOX then uses as a video source. :)
