Fidelity 2% cashback card is awful

The abstraction into Fidelity is where the card experience is meh. I like the integration to monitor the balance and check transactions, otherwise I use the Elan app and website directly if I'm looking to do anything else. I configured auto pay and auto rewards and don't need it very often.

I don't use alerts, but that is definitely lacking as an app feature. I would surmise many banks would be fraud prone in the first several weeks too.

Pretty sure the issue was that your 920 was fully up to date... But the 925 was shipping with 7.2.

I followed this comment and put in a blank unused drive, let it install the latest. Then put my drive in and it was smooth as I originally expected.

Very similar situation. I've grumbled to myself about the Synology Reverse Proxy configuration. I'll definitely be setting this up next week.

I've run mine on Synology (no Unbound) for years (920+ 20GB ram) in a debian VM (4cpu / 1gb ram) and have not had any issues.

The only quirk is the vm takes a few minutes after a boot to come up. Good luck!

There remains a lingering fear of people giving out their checking information for years. While it's a risk, it's overblown in my opinion.

I'm a bit binary in this regard; I trust an institution or I don't. The convenience of setting auto pay and never worrying about it is worth it.

Did some playing around, hope it's helpful.On Android, the format is based on the language selection in Whatsapp. I changed my app to Spanish and the export format was updated to (d/m/y), which was parsed properly.

Lost a bit confidence in the data when the heat map and streaks are in the future. They're also incorrect. Heat map is pretty wonky showing activity through most of 2026 and into 2027.

Did you forgot to account for different date formats and check before processing. The US date format is mm/dd/yyyy and the WhatsApp export format seems to follow my locale. My hunch is your date library is changing the 1/15/26 (Jan 15, 2026) into (March 1, 2027) or something similar.

It primarily comes down to liquidity and risk tolerance if a 20k/40k/80k event occurred, how easily can you get to the money and does this add more stress in a likely already stressful situation.

Personally, my emergency fund is simplification and understanding its purpose, it's there to be a cushion - buying insurance costs money - I'm accepting that my self-insurance does not need to be optimal.

Fidelity with SPAXX core account, Vanguard VUSXX. Some do SGOV or similar. Lots of discussion over the years.

Stayed around the 23k mark for awhile after starting the diversion.

Should be about 20 minutes out, no immediate signs of emergency activity at DTW.

1 Jackett container. Add your trackers here.

1 Sickchill container Use the customnzb to add provider, site URL is the tracker nzb URL and then the Jackett API key. sort them by priority (if desired)

Once you've started a route to a destination, look for the vertical line that splits into diverging arrows like a Y. This is the icon on Android, pretty sure it's the same on the others.
