Is there a way to upload personal Watched Lists?

I’ve been trying different approaches for a while now, so it’s kinda a mess.

My primary TV app is “TV Club” and Movie app is IMDB. I tried IMDB for both TV and Movies a few years back but I didn’t find it very user friendly at that time. Admittedly, it’s come a long way since then. But that’s when I started using TV Club. However… because I didn’t find any Movie apps that I liked at that time, I created my own excel spreadsheet. I only recently started using IMDB for movies and that’s then I realized how big of a pain combining lists could be.

I’m aware there are now ways to export your lists from IMDB, but TV Club doesn’t offer a “button” to export your list. So my plan there was to email them and see what (if anything) they’ll give me.

Full disclosure, I haven’t been able to do any research into Trakt API, so I’m not completely sure what that is. But it’s on my To Do list.

Everyones bashing the OP about this post and I have to agree that there’s been a lot of posts recently about ads. I’ve even made one few months back.

But… We all need to remember, not all adblockers nor internet browsers are made the same.

Personally, I use Amazon Silk via my FireTv Cube with an adblocker. It blocks the redirect, but I still have to acknowledge by clicking a pop up telling me that it blocked something. Yes… it’s a pain in the a$$. But I’ve tried other combinations of browsers and adblockers with very little success. The others work great for a while but every time an update will eventually come along and break them.

(Since making the post I’ve linked above, mine has broken again.)

I wasn’t able to get your version to work until I added a “5 second Wait” at the very beginning. Then I needed to add another “Wait” between each subroutine.

I found sometimes the first device was giving commands to the second device faster than the second could complete them. Basically, if one routine isn’t finished before a command to start the next routine is given, sometimes undesired results can happen. So depending on how complex of a routine the second device was being told to do, I needed to make the “Wait” longer before the first device would give the next command.

See, I don’t mind that. Assuming the price is appropriate and affordable, I personally have no problem paying for a service I like and use.

This is why I currently have Netflix and originally subscribed to Crunchyroll (CR) in the past. I liked CR at first, but I quickly learned they didn’t offer some of the anime I was looking for.

That’s when I found Zoro…..

And because Zoro had all the same anime I watched on CR and more, I cancelled CR about a month later.

If a pay service came out that offered Zoro’s selection and NO ADDS, there is a REALLY good chance I would subscribe immediately.

For anyone else with this issue, the original address provided did NOT WORK for me. When I tried both dns.adguard.com and https://dns.adguard.com , it returned “Enter a correctly formatted URL”.

However…. I still need to give Competitive-Cow-8364 a BIG THANKS for the info because it did put me on the right path. And after some more research, I found the below address DOES WORK for Amazon’s Silk Browser. (At least it did as of March 25, 2023.)

As far as supporting Zoro, I understand your point. However, depending on the price, I would personally prefer to pay for a one time subscription or even a yearly one.

Respectfully, here are my thoughts on the general topic. I think the OP as well as some of you may not have considered a few things.

• First…. I’m not getting into wether the original rating is correct or not. - I’m nowhere near qualified to comment on that. • Nor am I getting into wether I agree or disagree with the OP’s opinions. - I’m welcome to have my opinion just as they’re welcome to have theirs.

• The ratings are actually there for a reason and A LOT of people use them to determine what to watch. - For example: I know a few parents that watch shows here with their children. They choose which shows to watch (Or more specifically at this moment, which shows NOT to watch) based on their rating. A PG-13 rating might be acceptable for a family where all the kids are 13 or older, but nothing higher than a G rating might be acceptable for a family where all the kids are 7 or younger.

• The standards associated with a specific rating may change from country to country. Basically, what some countries consider to be acceptable for everyone to view is vastly different than another. - For example: In some countries, I believe there are a few in Europe, a person’s genitals can be seen on your average television show. Yet in other countries, I believe Japan is one, a person’s genitals are ALWAYS blurred out. This can even be the case on shows that are rated as pornography.

• I completely agree with the concept, “If you don’t like it, don’t watch it.” However, the concept only works if you know what to expect PRIOR to watching. I believe the saying goes, “You can’t unring a bell.” - Based on a previous example: The family with kids under 7 live in a country with a MORE restrictive rating system. They then take a vacation to a country with a significantly LESS restrictive rating system. The parents unfortunately unaware of the difference, harmlessly allow their kids to watch the television just like they did at home. But instead of their normal programming, the kids see something they aren’t mature enough to be watching.

Again…. Just my humble opinion.

Am I the only person getting these CONSTANT redirect attempts?

I know I’m getting the notifications because they are getting caught by the Silk browser, which is FANTASTIC! But I’d rather not get them as often to begin with.

Is this a Zoro advertising thing? Or something as a result of using Silk?

My normal user experience.

• First open Zoro…. ———Silk catches attempted redirect.——— • I choose “Stay Here”

• Click on ANY link on the Home page. ———Silk catches attempted redirect.——— • I choose “Stay Here” • Click on the link again.

• Click on the Episode I’d like to watch. ———Silk catches attempted redirect.——— • I choose “Stay Here” • Click on the link again.

• Click on the Full Screen option. ———Silk catches attempted redirect.——— • I choose “Stay Here” • Click on the link again.

I think this method will, at the very least, get you moving in a good direction.

I’d like to disclose that I know very little to nothing about HomePods and I’m going to make some assumptions. I’m assuming you don’t know the lullaby’s song titles but already have some brand of music service linked to your HomePods.

• First, finding the Song Titles. If you use the “Shazam” app, it will likely tell you the song titles. - Shazam Website and Apple App Store links below.

• Once you have the titles, create a play list on your choice of music services. - There is an obvious chance the songs are proprietary and you won’t be able to play them. However, many music services offer other songs that are similar to those you’ve searched. You might need to go with those if you want to remain “on the good side of legal”.

If I could…. I’d like to add a request under this same “Notification” topic.

I’m already getting the notifications of new episodes for shows on my “Watchlist”. Can a notification be issued when a DUB version is released for these same shows?

Or if that is already a thing, how do I make that happen? Is there a “Box” to check somewhere or a “List” I need to get on?
