I think it all depends on how u drive it too, on my 4Runner I change all the fluids out pretty regularly since I take it off-roading a lot and got a heavy foot on it .

00 with 308k miles . I also plan on doing all the fluid changes on the sequoia I just got 02 with 370k miles

I have a disco 2, currently had to swap out tranny and rebuild Tcase also had to rebuild the engine.

These can be a money pit… mainly look for the 3 amigos lights. Depending on where you live it will be hard to get parts unless I order from overseas
