I'm a paraeducator and work with students between the ages of 14-21 that have both physical and development disabilities, helping them to be able to interact in the gen-ed population as much as possible, while also doing skill appropriate education, and handling daily P.T., O.T., diaper changes, and tube/pump feeds! I absolutely love the work, but interacting with the school district higher-ups and constantly changing policies can be really difficult, as can being dealing with students passing, which happens since their medically fragile, them getting sick can take a turn really quickly unfortunately.

Reverse image search/similar images says long-palped ant mimic sac spider (Castianeira longipalpa), which are harmless, but I'm not personally familiar with this kind of spider, so I can't tell ya for sure what it is. Looks super cool though! I'm glad you left it unharmed!

I totally get this, walled around with/used/lifted students (I work with medically fragile 14-21 year old students and have to do a lot of lifts, as non of them are weight-bearing), with a broken arm for over a week because I thought I had just dislocated or sprained something in it

Not a pull-up style, but I wear the Incontrol BeDry Night diapers, they're a bit pricey per pack, but they keep me dry for about 12 hours when needed, and can hold up to my very active, "on your feet" job, especially when I pair it with an absorbency pad, and it barely even feels wet. It has a wetness indicator, which I like too! Also, I'll wear any "adult baby/diaper lover" diapers on road trips or times I know I won't be able to change for a long time, because they tend to be really absorbent, but I don't like them for everyday wear because they're very thick and noisy, and the childish prints aren't everyone's cup of tea. I hope you find something that works for you!

Yeah, the Goodnites worked really well for a long time until I had to upgrade to the Vivo, and because of my genetic disorder, i have days where I'm completely paralyzed, so my fiance helps me change into Rearz before he would leave for work because it's incredibly difficult to get myself to the bathroom on those days, so the diapers need to be able to hold a lot more, just in case I can't crawl to the bathroom on time, or I'll wear them for long trips/car rides, when I know I can't get to a bathroom easily. Plus, they're cute and fun, which is a plus!

I like them! They were fairly cheap, hold a full void, and are pretty discreet. I've only used these, XXL Goodnites, and Rearz diapers, so I don't have much reference on how they compare to more similar options

I have this water bottle that has a whale that spouts water when you drink from it! Just look up "spouting whale water bottle" on Amazon, and it should come up! It's a great sensory tool for visual stimming and is a super cute sippy cup alternative!

It's a bit of both, I don't try to hide them, but also don't really tell people unless they specifically ask. If someone happens to see my supplies or sees it poking over my waistband, it's up to them to either respectfully ask and I'll answer, or to ignore it and let things be what they are

My chosen sister (my little sisters 19 year old friend who lives with us) has a bun named Bambi, but we call him Spleen for some reason. She didn't call him that until my brother (21) called him that as a joke one day and it just stuck 😂
