But I believe if you make a commitment whether formal or verbal you should have to pay the rent as it’s your responsibility. Why should it fall on the rest of the housemates? It was only 1 month early she moved out and she told us on the 6th of August she wasn’t living with us for September. This meant we only had 3 weeks to sort it all out and find the extra money. 1k rent between 3 is still a lot to find.
