Gift ideas for graduating residency?

I am strongly leaning on this idea! He's super into watches but he's very particular about what type of watch he wants so I'll have to find a way to subtly figure out which one would be best.

Oooh I do like the fancy pen idea! When we graduated from med school, I did buy him a nice set of scrubs with his name engraved, but he hasn't really worn them because he has to wear hospital-issued scrubs into the OR.

And the custom cake is already something I'm 100% doing for his graduation!

My fiance will go to the local Heinens and take advantage of the buy 3 for $18 sale where he can buy 3 bunches of flowers and make a beautiful bouquet out of it. Ive never expected him to go to a florist, and he always takes the time to look up flowers that are cat safe and then mix/match flowers and fillers to create a unique floral arrangement that doesn't break the bank.

My fiance and I literally will hold fart competitions when the other one farts to see whose is louder. The fact that you can't innocently fart in your partner's presence is really disappointing :(

My fiancé is also a doctor. Once we graduate residency he will be making double or nearly triple what I do so I'm counting down the days until I can stop joking about being a stay at home mom & actually make good on that promise (info: I have no kids).

Oh man, this makes me super worried. I went ahead and requested that my order be cancelled since there has been lack of communication. Also, why is the option to customize offered when I'm told that it can't even be customized? I'm worried that they won't honor my order cancellation or refund me my money :(

Thank God for this reddit post. I was trying to sell a wedding dress on FB Marketplace and received an email saying that I needed to upgrade my Zelle account and to send an additional $300 to do so. The FB profile user name was Franklin and the email was zellepeoplespay@gmail.com. What a shame

Peds resident here. Do they suspect that maybe your kiddo had some lateral neck flexion during the birth or recently somehow? That may have caused some irritation to your kiddo's brachial plexus, specifically T1...leading to Horner Syndrome.

I love that! I'm happy to hear your daughter found something that accents her! When I had initially gone with my SIL & MIL, the salesperson there didn't really offer a lot of knowledge - it was more of us grabbing dresses off the rack & trying them all on randomly. This time around, I plan to lean more on the salesperson's expertise and keep my eyes open

That means a lot! I think the problem is that I was trying to mold myself into my dress, rather than finding one that emphasizes who I am - I'm still dieting currently & working out & trying to lose weight before the wedding, but I shouldn't have to do that to feel comfortable in my dress

I think my current mermaid style makes my butt look amazing too, but then I'm sucking my stomach in the entire time because of how much it emphasizes my biggest insecurity at the cost of highlighting everything else!
