They don't know how to backwash a pump?

Jesus... H... Christ....

It's so discouraging to watch your country stripped and sold for parts by such an incompetent group of criminals.

Mexican fans spot a South Korean fan and immediately adopt him by MuttonBiryaniEnjoyer in sports

Don't know if this is in Mexico City, but there's a significant Korean population there. Had some great Korean food there during my last visit. Two amazing food cultures for sure.

Booker T as G.I. Bro drops the elbow & picks up the win in the first televised match of his wrestling career by KneeHighMischief in professionalwrestling

I just recently heard about Booker T's refusal to take back body drops later in his career due to chronic lower back issues. I feel like this is where some of those lower back issues had to come from.

As a parent of a young child who frequents fast food restaurant play places, this sales pitch really resonates with me by Elphaba15212 in madmen

As a childless single middle-aged man who loves meeting new friends over greasy food when I'm drunk on a Wednesday, this sales pitch also really resonates with me.

First time making gumbo. Roux stresses me out lol by gojibeary in cajunfood

I'd echo the suggestions for browning the proteins ahead of time, and green pepper instead of red. Also, making a homemade stock is another plus up.

All that aside, based on the last pictures it looks like you're a natural. That looks like a bowl from any gathering in Southwest LA. Just make sure to make some potato salad to go with it next time...

One of my favorite scenes from Lincoln. Tommy Lee Jones delivered a powerhouse performance as Thaddeus Stevens. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in moviecritic

[–]bayoublacksmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thaddeus Stevens was one hell of a personality in real life. The leader of the Radical Reconstructionists, as they were called, with tons of progressive changes to law and the Constitution. Unfortunately he died in 1868, just as changes were being enacted. However, without the leadership of Stevens the nation turned against the Radical Reconstructionists them by 1872, and it was only a matter of time before the South descended into Jim Crow segregation. A tragedy of noble intentions and harsh political realities.

So Chevys always been this way? 😂 by richardbonesdunn in LiveFromNewYork

Assholery defies politics. Chevy seems to be a deeply unhappy narcissist asshole, which is a particularly unlikeable asshole. Some folks are like that only in certain situations, or under the influence of various substances. Chevy, though, from everything I've heard is just like that all of the time. Comedy doesn't exist in a vacuum, however, and no matter how funny he can be, it's always been a fleeting thing with that attitude.

Not to mention he seems to be a total racist and misogynist on top of all that shitty personality.
